When my wife and I bought her family home we bought it outright and then after spending $210k it’s almost done. One thing I did was to install a generac generator that runs on propane and for our stove. This property use to always lose power but it didn’t lose power much after. Except last nite around 8:30 pm to 1:30 pm today all my neighbors were out of luck but my generator runs the entire house including the heat or AC like now. Cost me $70 per year and I bought the tanks x 2 120 gallon so no rental.if my wife’s parents were still alive my mother in law would love what we did and my father in law would complain about the money spent. It needed the kitchen and bathroom completely made over! We just finished putting in a second bathroom since I have 3 granddaughters. So the oldest is only 3 but is potty training and the second girl is 6.5 months old and finally my 3rd granddaughter at 2.5 months old. My wife and I watch them when their parents are at work and we don’t charge them a dime. Daycare is extremely expensive even though my 3 adult kids and their significant others have degrees so they are all doing well. Buying a house is an unattainable goal here in Massachusetts. If I could let them build behind us that would be great but the town would not let that happen

When I was in my 20's the fireworks place caught on fire in Albertsons parking lot. We had let mom in the car because she was paralyzed on right side. We asked Mom what happened, she said " It went whee!" We still chuckle about it 50 years later.

I have a portable Mill as well. For your peace of mind, tack weld the seams of your frame. It helps keep it true.

Maybe consider towing the mill to the local welding shop to stabilize the bolted together sections. Help you be a lot more comfortable towing it where you need it.

Dutch, 1) they have tire locks you can buy for an extra precaution for your tree gear. 2) Or you can remove the tires and put cinder blocks under the rims.

Send the tent after dried out to a canvas repair company or manufacturer to repair it correctly. When you fed the pigs the spaghetti they might be Italian meat balls in the future.

My friend has a small mill and says you should always center the mill head over the axle and strap it there. I enjoy your channel God bless.

Google says: “Most of the weight has to be over the front of the trailer and tongue.” “I've always been told 60% of the weight on the nose and 40% on the tail.” “I always was told to keep the weight centered over the trailer axle, not in front or behind.” Centre a heavy load over the axel is the best idea.

I believe you need some lessons regarding trailering: Proper load placement Proper tie-downs Hitch heights ... In Ontario, Canada, you would be legally required to know all of the above since you earn money (KZfaq videos) with your vehicles so you'd be a commercial driver. Nonetheless, if something were to go wrong, you'd still be putting yourself in danger and would still be held responsible.

my way to handle logs to be used in constructing a carport / garage for my best car... first drag the log to a work area and using a peivee (sp) and sharp skinning tool obtzined at a garage sale ...remove the bark --has to be done in the spring while the sap is still under the bark....when the skinned log is left in the sun,,,it becomes smooth and shiny ..note;; no nails were used but I had a 1/4 hp drill and long bits , plus 12-15 inch bolts and hardware obtained at a garage sale...that were left over from another neibors job site

I think i told you before that another homesteading channel i watch has Kune Kune pigs - it took their pair about 2 years to have their first litter. Then, they had a second litter from that same sow a year after the first litter. Both litters were a decent size (6-7 piglets) and were healthy. You know it takes about 2 yrs to grow the Kune Kune piglets into a good size for butchering.

What the hale$ Jeremy hales built a bird aviary for his chickens and peacocks. Have considered that as well. It would keep your birds safe but they could still move in there area. Framing and netting (instead of plastic) like a greenhouse

Next time make an X with the tie downs from the saw assembly to the frame from left to right either in the front or back. This will prevent it from swaying left to right. Now onto the rest of the video! 😁

They are portable sawmills that's what they are made for. That's the best thing about them is the fact you can move them and are not just stuck in one spot.

Leftovers good food. We inherited my husband’s father’s dog because he gave her to him. Troubles was 12 and 😅a little Rat Terrier…dubbed the fuel injected dog. When we got her she was flea infested and losing teeth and I had to spoon feed her for two weeks before she quit growling and trying to bite me/eat me? She ate wet food and leftovers for the remainder of her 20 years.

Maybe the next time you transport the sawmill try lowering the head as far down as it will go. Looks like it was a little top heavy cause it was very high in the air. Just a thought

I hope you put tracker devices. The same thing as your phone connects it to it. So in case somebody wants to see it the rule white box. You can stick them anywhere on your equipment and hide it. Find my find my equipment for my phone. You could use it for to all tracking devices. Protect your wife, protect your life, protect your tools.❤❤🎉🎉
