My mother in law passed away yesterday (she was 100 plus six months and had a wonderful, faith filled life). I was so glad I took your suggestion to romanticize our lives by writing an actual letter. She was the first person I sent one to and she had told me how she appreciated it. I'm glad you made this suggestion!

Yes I have a favorite spot in our home in the morning 😍 Our family room is where the sun rises and shines all morning it's the most beautiful thing. I do my quite time there and have my coffee 💕 I look forward to it everyday. I've noticed the birds singing louder now too, makes my heart so happy!

It's so nice to take a Saturday mid morning break from housekeeping duties and sit here with your latest video. The flowers - especially the roses! - are lovely. Wisconsin, mid March: brown, temperatures hovering around the freezing point, raining or snowing... Nikki, That color green of that rain coat looks absolutely beautiful on you, it makes the color of your beautiful eyes look like emerald stones. I noticed that I have the same problem I put something away in a container and either I forgot where I put it or forgot I had it. It’s even worse I end up purchasing it being an article of clothing or home decor. I wonder if storage containers are the answer or maybe a picture catalog of what we have. Your thoughts on this issue? Thank you for sharing, like always you are such a lovely lady.

Hi Nikki...What a lovely Springtime video. It’s like reading an inspiring book. I love floral also and have added more around the areas I’m in since watching you. It’s still cool here in the Midwest but the warm sunshine streaming through the windows make me feel like Spring. After watching this.. I went to my closet again ( I had straighten it a few weeks back) This time I was determined to keep only what looked n felt the best. Oh what a pressure was lifted after I cleared it out. It is bittersweet to let go of pretty things that have served us well, isn't it? I'm sad to hear you will be letting the aprons go. I've thought about encouraging one of my daughters to begin sewing Mother/daughter seasonal aprons. They seem to do well at the summer picker's market and the fall market in town. Thank you for sharing your day. I like to watch you for a boost when I'm feeling unable to get to my own projects. I can watch you in bits here and there, pausing when I need to while watching my grandson. Your videos are always so calming and soothing. Thank you for all you put into them.

Today I am packing up my grandmother's fine China for my granddaughter. I moved in with mom 5 years ago to care for her because she had allseimers. She passed away & now it's time to sell her home. Not sure if my granddaughter would appreciate her great great grandmother's China now but maybe she will when she's older!

My condolences Kathy. I'm glad you took the time to care for your mother and now dealing with her possessions as it can be very difficult. It really depends on where your granddaughter is at in life. Things I would have gotten when I was much younger I wouldn't appreciate as I did after my 30's. Some really do when they are young but others just don't know what they have.

Sometimes I feel like I'm living in the 1800s I have to wash my laundry in the sink but I don't have a ringer the only thing that's hard Abt it is I don't have a lot of space to dry so I'm always behind on laundry!

Love SOO many things about this video! Suggestion: Walmart & fabric stores carry soft tape measures that wind up in a round compact container just like metal tape measures. When you’re finished using it you just push a button and it rewinds itself. The compact size & shape takes up little room & is easy to store & find when you need it. Hope this helps!

How do you mannage to always look ladylike and feminine, take care of the house, take care of your children,i think you said in one of your videos that you helping your mother and grandparents, and spend quality time with your husband? How to make your relationship with husband a priority with all others obligations?
