Ralph Baer made all the glorious things we enjoy in life as gamers possible......... And now he's gone.. Let us 'pause' and 'save' and thank the 'father of video games' for what he gave us.... Your comment is speculative, at best. The exploration of new ways to play games was universal. Computer games, for instance, were being made as early as the 1940s. Ralph Baer simply got to be recorded in history for the first machine of its type (tv gaming console), but game-centered machines were being planned, designed, and some even built all across the globe.
