The picture of the girl hunched over after Mrballen talks about the layout is the actress that plays the part of girl who was kidnapped although it’s loosely based on this story. It’s an AMAZING MOVIE but, Lord did I feel sick and have cold chills throughout the entire movie.

I remember the Lifetime movie loosely based on this case after watching a documentary about the true crime; my heart hurts for Elizabeth and her children.

Words fail to describe just how fucking disgusting this guy is and how tragic this entire situation is. This man cared only about power and control, even for the people who loved him most in the entire world. Assaults every fucking night. Doing that even after multiple children born and feeling NOTHING. Shutting off power and heat to make your family suffer. All I can say to anyone facing a controlling partner is to just leave. Holy shit it's not worth it, even "light" versions of this are so bad.

I wouldn’t put “light” in quotes when speaking on this particular case. Pretty much any controlling relationship is objectively light compared to the utter hell that girl lived.

Ive heard a lot of people say, "Americans are obsessed with punishment, rehabilitation is secondary," and i honestly cant say its wrong. BUT AT THE SAME TIME, a man who is capable of doing this to his own family for as long as he did, has ONLY earned himself a hell on earth existence, so is it actually wrong to encourage punishment for the worst offenders? I say they shouldve put him in gen pop until he was done for, as was his natural path. But instead the people overseeing his case gave him more mercy than he EVER even thought about giving to his own children.

I mean, solitary confinement seems pretty fitting for how he confined his child. Psychological torture is slow and painful compared to being quickly beaten to death. Death can be a mercy to certain heinous people which is why some take themselves out.

There was a similar case, her name is Natasha Kampusch. Also Austria. Also Austria has probably the worst criminal cases in eastern/middle Europe. They had also a serial killer named Unterweger, he killed 11 women, 3 in L.A. the others were in Austria. He also was an author.

Imagine a prison room that big, stay there in a few days, can make you crazy, let alone in a small crawl space like that, for 20 years.... man... If you're not strong enough, you're probably just thinking, "well, I just rather die right here, right now..." But Elizabeth become strong because of her children. She never gives up. She keep protecting her children till the end of her torture. cant imagine how traumatizing that years went by slowly... Yeah, I agreed. Dont let him go. Let him die and rot in solitaries. 2024 is almost near, but at least he never got to see his family that he tortured ever again.

Kidd at 8:37 "liftime kinda thing" Me as Austrian: "its so far worse you have no idea!" Kidd at 11:40 "Dad kidnapped her and made a child with her" Me as Austrian:"your acutally quite on point just not entirely!" It is absurdly legendary here in Austria. Nobodyin Austria could believe that things like that could happenin our country. For context: Austria has an incredibly low crime rate. There are only a couple of murders and just a few heavy crimes each year in the entire country. So this shocked us Austrians far worse than any others.

There are some really sick ass people in this world.That’s one of the sickest stories I’ve ever heard. I love watching you guys and I love your content. I guess some stories give me the creeps more than others.Incest is so disgusting and all of the psycho controlling and manipulating,physical abuse and all of the lies.It’s a lot to have to digest and process. I came from an extremely abusive Father,But nothing like that.My Father was severely abused and he passed it on to me until I was too big for him to handle. I went through therapy and I’m fine now. I can’t stand when people abuse women,children and animals . I don’t like any of it regardless. I’m 6”2 225 and I’m solid no fat. I’m not a bad ass, I just wish I could get a hold of some of these Jack Asses and get a little “Medieval “ on their asses.Anyway my two cents.

We have to understand that kids are not something we can own.. I mean.. it's a person.. yeah they need another person and parent would be best.. but when parent is fucked.. does the child really have to be there with that parent?.. does he own him?.. does he really belong to him.. or to the society?.. 🫠 Edit..
