US Marine Corps Reservist Sergeant Sipes. He and his wife are buried behind his military marker and we didn’t realize it until we were nearly done.

This video is beautiful in so many ways. U guys always do an amazing job but my favorite part was watching Ronan. U could really see how much of his heart is in it. This not only teaches him many valuable, and different, lessons in it but u also get to see a son bond with his father as his father is instilling some wonderful values in him. Wish that was something we see more of in this world.

Dear Sir, I am, a 68 year old Army veteran residing in Washington state, on the other side of the nation. I rather doubt that your eyes will fall upon these few short written words... This is my first viewing of your committment and dedication to our fallen service members, and doubtlesly will not be the last. As I am tapping this out to you, I am listening to John Williams, Hymn To The Fallen. I too have cleaned and washed a few veterans headstones and the white marble markers we have all come to recognize as a final resting place for those of us who served the country and, the world. What you are teaching, to your son, to hundreds of thousands of others is the respect due to those who stepped forward to fill the void and stand between liberty for those who we stood with, and those who we stood for, and that which we stood against . That respect, is two fold in that , it is we also who owe you and millions more that same thanks you give to us as well as the unrelenting committment to keeping this country, and the freedom loving peoples of the world sustained with hope. This is often overlooked work that is done , and goes by without notice by hundreds of thousands that drive by these resting places daily. It's important work that recieves no acknowledgement, until now. To the readers, I encourage those that can to make the effort to visit those cemetaries that rarely if ever receive any visitors to our service members grave sites, and to do so with the thorough understanding of how to clean one of these white marble markers and to not, create bigger issues. This is not, a task to be taken lightly or without all due regard and research as to how, to do it correctly. When you do go and do these things, leave a small rock , as it will denote that someone took the time to pay that person a visit. Even a passing prayer would be of gracious reception for the one whose markers named individual is well as, the one who has completed the task sucessfully. I will not have anyone who will be in receipt of remains nor will I be with accompaniment when I am placed below ground. My time is short now, and it has been a good life. All of these people had that and to that end, I extend to you, and to your young son, my full on respect and admiration for your work. Duty Country Honor. This created a few shed tears without any regret or reservation. D. Blevins 9th Infantry 7th SF Grp Medical Operations NCO RVN 1972-1975 Washington State Salute Much love and care YOUR way. Reply

He’s been tested for that and they said it wasn’t there. He’s definitely ADHD though and isn’t a fan of reading in general. But I try to get him to read as often as I can for the practice.
@jerryseller1076Ай бұрын
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival make him read 1-2 books a week, depending on the thickness. My father made me read 1 book a week then he gave me a quiz about it. ( they weren't to thick ). I didn't appreciate it back then, but I definitely appreciate it now that I am an adult. Have him read things that'll grab his attention though. I had to read boring books he picked out. At 15 I had to read war and peace. A few chapters each week till I finished the book. I hated that book so much back then, I've never read it again. 🤣🤣🤣
