Mactics is correct 99% of the time, but the Atraxs tip isn't great. The reason speedrunners would use GG over barrage even before the nighthawk buff is that you can easily pop it before hand and wait for the boss to drop immunity or to start dps. That said, you can pop goldie, wait for countdown, immediately shoot and THEN pop parasite. With the extra hunter handling, its even possible to toss in an extra shot of wilderflight or a recomb mountaintop for 80-100k extra damage, though you have to be perfect. To add, Atraks has one of the highest crit modifiers of any boss at 56% extra, on her chest. And goldie is a crit abuser. Do with this information what you will.

Perfect timing! Was just trying to figure out what to build for Pantheon! Thanks! Also, with the Izanagi shot swap, you have time to proc bait and switch on your rocket as well. I do this on my Titan and Warlock for the warlords boss using apex predator.

Additionally, if you have a bunch of crayons to attract some titans, Thundercrash with Cuirass of the Falling Star exotic makes Atraks the easiest boss fight - simple one phase.

The golgiroth gaze is now my standard. In LFG I end up doing it because a lot of people don’t know how but the tractor will help them with DPS so much that’s awesome. Saved the video 👍

For Atraks You can pre pop golden gun with celestial, shoot at the start of damage then immediately shoot parasite after. I actually think it’s easier and more damage than using blade barrage just from my personal experience but both strats are more than viable, great video btw

Class Warfare has a 28 yard range. You can dodge on the top while getting gaze and they will get it from you below. Essentially from Flag to encounter start bubble above is the distance.

Ran it for the first time last night with a similar GG build. Macrocosm was pretty busy and definitely a level above the other encounters... 100 RES + 3x solar resist and was still squishy. That'll be "fun" on higher difficulties

I was using Stasis Hunter with Renewal Grasps for the first 2 encounters and it worked really well

Always pop goldie outside of well or you do less damage, and pre-pop goldie on atraks before damage and parasite immediately after

Remember Radiant gives celestial GG more damage but being in a well overrides radiant and you do less damage in a well with GG remember to step out when shooting

I pop golden gun right as we start the countdown to damage atraks so there's enough time to super+parasite

stasis/arc surge will be a reality check for some who don't understand overload rockets

even better for top planet crossing - jump on top of planets close to center and cross across the top.

Hey idk if you'll get this but I have a pretty spicy but balanced pvp build that deals with quick ability Regen, never running out of ammo(basically), hunting down low health targets, quick health Regen, and never stop moving. Exotic armor- knucklehead radar Exotic weapon- centrifuse Jump- blink Dodge- gamblers Punch- your pick Grenade- your pick Fragments-haste, focus, recharge, choice is your for last fragment Aspects- flow state, tempest strike Hope this is as fun for you as it was for me. If you want some spicy drip to go with it use the exotic ornament for knucklehead 9days ights Use the eternal vengeance grips, the Deimosborn chest and legs and finally the omega mechanos cloak. Ere is glance for chest and legs, omnichronia for cloak and arms and skele ghaul for the helmet. Cheers.

What does hitting two rapid tractor shots do exactly? What’s the reason for hitting two shots rapidly over just one to apply the debuff?

Don’t be in a well while using celestial. It’s bugged and you do less damage while In a well.

I also had some huge damage in my hunters pantheon completion this week. But i didnt use gunpowder gamble and i raid acrobats dodge to apply radiant to my whole team when using the class ability for that buff as well. couple times had like double damage when we wiped for damage lol. nighthawk the whole time too people say BB is best with star eater for bursting atraks. but while having a deep thought moment i thought what if i shoot parasite from farther away right when the countdown is at 2 then i have time to pop goldy and get it off also the same time my worm hits. Its doable and not having to gather orbs is just way better lol

Also I believe you can add multiple guns in each slot on DIM

You can use golden gun no problem. You simply cast it before you start dps and then fire it on countdown then follow up with parasite

why did you double tractor? you can just shoot once, or do you do it to make sure you have all the time you can use from the 30% debuff duration?

Edit: I'm not sure this is correct. I'll need to test next time I log in. You can take advantage of the seasonal artifact to bypass the need to match weapon surge. Any of the anti-champion weapons OR the Origin Perk Specializations will net you the same +25% weapon boost.

I hit 7mil on caretaker in pantheon with this build and edge transit, you can consistently hit golden gun shots for like 1.5mil if you have class warfare x3 on

1. If you have overload rockets on then you bypass the elemental surge and all of your rocket launchers benefit from the surge. 2. On Atraks don't use your Melee to get Radiant, it subtracts from his dps time.

Why are you double booping just to make sure they’re getting hit with it or does that actually extend the de buff? My understanding is that one shot is enough but sometime I do two if I’m too far on the first boop.

Re: energy weapon. If you are using a weapon that is overcharged from artifact, it doesn't matter if you use void to align with surge, correct? I'm using abyss defiant with overload auto rifle.

Question. My damage with nighthawk is really inconsisten, but never really goes over 680k - ish. I always get radiant and land precision hit with goldie. Did they nerf it, or am i doing something wrong? Because i do the same thing every time, but sometimes the damage will dip to really low numbers (100 - 150k)

All of this is great but the dps phases are all backwards because you can just use edge transit this week with cascade point and tractor cannon and just nuke every boss without all the switching. 5 hunters and 1 warlock with well and edge transits gave us a sub 19 minute run.

Wouldn't a envious, bait and switch edge transit be better dps? ( For planets atleast)

Another reason to use blade barrage is that radiant doesn't work in a Well, so you won't have a buffed Golden Gun anyways.

The Hardest part of D2 has now, for me, has become finding a solid team to play with. 4 of my 6 man team of friends got tired of D2 and went to play final fantasy. My clan has their own cliques, love em, but for content like this they have a team each member goes with. I've tried LFG, and even your server mac, people just can't do it. Does no one know that standing in a well with a golden gun diminish it’s damage? Like the radiant buff you get from melees or dodges is stronger then the radiance buff you get from the well. It’s been proven SO many times. For anyone watching this video please do not stand in a well with an active golden gun + radiant buff you will deal way less damage.

Instead of having hunter use their throwing knife and starting dps early have the warlock use their solar melee as you shoot parasite since they don’t have a super to pop after shooting they can melee then while everyone supers they can parasite
