Use the ground, get the bigger muscles involved, rotate the hips, these are all phrases that I hear when golfers talk about increasing speed and distance, but how much do they actually contribute to speed? It may be less than you think.
In this video I demonstrate a swing which looks a 'little unusual' and this may well surprise you about the driver swing in terms of where most of your speed comes from.
Once you understand what generates most of your swing speed you can begin to create effortless power

Chris. I wish to thank you ever so much for the lesson on hand and arms generated speed. I followed the lesson yesterday. I played today and applied more speed to my arms and hands with much better results. My score improved by four strokes from my average. I am so grateful.

The tricky part of the question was “most” speed and in view of the fact you’re holding the club with your hands, then hands and arms it must be. I also use this fluid, easy, lag type practice swing when using my woods… from one of your previous lessons! Another great video, thank you Chris.

Chris, should the flexed wrists be controlled by the weight of the driver head during the swing, if not, at what point should the wrists be relaxed throughout the swing?

Chris, my driver is anything but, however i will try this , is all logical, problem with me is too tense, I guess you nail it with wrist movement must be fluid and grip pressure and other major issue with me is movement in back swing , my mind kept bothering me and kind of loosen on the way down, my mind is muddle up

Before watching all of the video, I believe the most speed comes from the wrists. Lack of tension in muscles and using efficient body motion, soft relaxed wrists will create tremendous speed.

The part that makes me crazy is that .. on occasion .. all the stars align .. and I find the drive I just struck is about 300 yards away from the tee box. The terrible part is: It felt exactly like the 240 yard drives I hit all day just before. No noticeable difference between the two swings.

Forearms is what impacts your swing speed the most, without question. You could have everything else on point in the swing, but weak forearms you might lose up to 30% of speed and driving distance.

I would say core, hips and lats. Being a hockey player, I get the movements fairly naturally but struggle when I overthink it or try to change things. P.S. The two quickest corrections that have made a huge difference to my game because of you are the leading heel ball position visual and hand placement (I was way in the palms and slicing the ball every time)!

Why would you not be able to generate 100mph if you can generate 115/120 on the course using all your body movements? You are young, mobile and a professional golfer with the natural talent and skill set. May I suggest you get an average amateur who generated a reasonable current max 90 mph club head speed and with your tuition demonstrate more clearly the issues the amateur experiences in trying to implement the processes you enunciate and yet can achieve the progress you claim ( relatively speaking). This is not challenging your method. I think it is more believable if you demonstrate what you are saying with a comparable amateur to most of your viewers.
