I rely on income from KZfaq to help pay my bills as I no longer work due to health issues. I was on disability but that ended in 2023 when I turned 65. You will get this figured out!!! KZfaq is hard enough without this kind of headache.

This is ridiculous. KZfaq is a hellscape. Hopefully they come to their senses.

I hope you can find a way around this Larry, I know how upsetting it can be, I had a 90 day ban last year and like you I was initially turned down on appeal. Fortunately after the 90 days was up I reapplied and was back in within a couple of days. So hopefully even if the absolute worst happens you can be back in by September. Hang on in there.

Wow! This is outrageous! So sorry to hear this Larry 😭. I am subscribed to over 100 channels and yours is by far the most inoffensive of them all. You never discuss politics or religion and even if you do, you do it in the most inoffensive way possible. Was it the video shorts you started posting? I am dumbfounded 🤔. Of all the channels You Tube could go after, why you? This is a sad day for You Tube and for your fans 😢. Sorry Larry.

I know I haven't been very active from watching a ton of your videos because of band work/gigging and looking after myself positively and productivity, but you've always been one of my favourite KZfaqrs. I do appreciate the influence you have on me for getting into different musicians and bands and I am grateful to know you. This just happened to Brad Taste In Music as well and it was all over some song that was playing in the background of one of his videos. He fought it somehow and won but also thought his channel was in jeopardy. Maybe reach out to to him and ask what he did to appeal their decision? Hope for the best as I really enjoy your content.

They will frequently take away my likes on my comments for whatever reason. I stand up for free speech but people are so blinded they will push for its repression themselves.

What a bunch of BS I mean the big bank youtubers are promoting / cross promoting other friends channels constantly. I hope you win this appeal because that is extremely harsh and disgusting that they would demonetize an entire channel over whats probably a misunderstanding by their AI.

It saddens me greatly to hear this news. I understand your frustration with KZfaq. I've never posted a video here (even though I've had KZfaq accounts since 2010) but I find myself frustrated with KZfaq as well. Over the past few months I've found myself limited by them to only a couple of comments or replies to comments per video while others can post as many as they like. But trolling and bullying are rampant on KZfaq, far more so than when I joined. You have a fan here, and when I can I will send you donations and sign up to your Patreon. Thanks for all the high quality entertainment Larry. I'll be seeing you on your other channel so you'll still be seeing me.

I hope you can get this appealed because none of your content is against the guidelines from what I can see and if they are then millions of channels should be taken off the platform for doing far far worse. Frustrating that they leave the rules vague and then if you supposedly break said rules they refuse to elaborate. It's like upsetting a newborn baby.

Hope you get this resolved as quickly as possible. Another channel I follow got a similar notice from YT and he eventually found out that having the website up he was reacting to in a split screen was the issue. Apparently, if you simply read from the list and react you are good but if you have the site up along with it that’s where the problem can arise. It all depends on whether the site complains or not but that may not be fully accurate as YT may go rogue and preemptively demonetize. It’s really convoluted!

I'd guess the "bots" saw you posting all of these lists from other sources, but didn't recognize that you were critically analyzing them as well. Larry has the most original show on You Tube. I've gone back and watched some of his earliest episodes. This man put You Tube on the map, before it was popular! He's shared very personal things and painful things with his audience. He deserves a channel and should be thanked for all his contributions. The idea to send him packing is clearly wrong. I'm so sorry. I've always used copyrighted music, so I know there's no chance of getting monetized. I shut two older and bigger channels down, but what I didn't know is that they'd shadowban my most recent channel for uploading old content I enjoyed. I had shut them down out of needing a break. I urge you to keep the channel, despite not being monetized. Even if you need to take a long break, even if you aren't monetized, you never know what the road ahead may bring.

This has happened to me Larry. I didn’t bother to appeal and just took it on the chin. I’m restarting the rebuild as we speak. It’s so disheartening

This doesn't make sense. I watch so many channels that repurpose and reuse content for contextual purposes or simply just mocking them. Why can they do that and you're being flagged is beyond me. What about all those "review" channels. "Breakdown" videos? There are literal channels made for those specific reasons, and you're getting flagged? WTF!?!

If you make videos for a living, you are a working man, same as any other working man. This sort of thing is just another sign that we are living in Stupidworld. Well, at least you know we're all there with you.

I can understand that it is very frustrating, because on the one hand, there is the monetary question, and on the other hand, a kind of entity, human or robot, which criticizes your work that you visibly carried out with passion and effort (the "reused content" stuff). We all know that you are not reusing your videos, but you still had to appeal, to be evaluated, and to wait max 14 days. And you don't know the final decision. We're sending you positive vibes.
