I just got my first 1/18 Iginition Models car a few days ago and I love it so much! It looks amazing among my other branded models, btw that white on white FD behind you looks incredible ;)

This is terrible, wtf are they thinking? Their price hike already scared me off, I'm not paying half a thousand aus dollars for an ignition model, it's too much imo. I'll still with collecting old autoart models etc.

As someone that spent decades in the retail world- this is the kiss of death of a model company. Yes their product will increase in value. Yes the demand will skyrocket. Yes most will not be able to buy it. Yes it’s a bad business model unless you are only interested in the top 1% of the collector world. Plus it will kill off the little guy retailer. All around bad move.

I love what Ignition puts out, but for what they cost I just replicate what they make in 1/24

Very true, however is someone really wanted something they do not have the same ability, know how to find someone to replicate and sometimes 1/24 doesn't exist for the makes and models.
