I really don't get the point of writing 1 of 4800 on the card. That's nothing special, I bought an exclusive Hobby Master F-104 and that said 118 of 750 on the card.

Hey I’m new to the 1/18 scale stuff. Currently only a hot wheel guy but want to move up scale. Any budget friendly brands I should look into ?

It looks like another brilliant 18 scale model from inno. I would have found it extremely difficult to remove it from the base, it looks too nice on it.

How does inno 64 pack their cases that they ship when it comes to the chase? I know kaido usually has theirs in the top right corner. Does inno do something similar?
@modelcarshouston2 күн бұрын
It really doesn't matter, that's the honest answer. Resellers need to take note as well.

If any of you guys are that bothered by it being unlicensed then why don't you report Time Micro to Toyota and Universal Pictures. They will then sue Time Micro for copyright violations and demand compensation. That will teach Time Micro never to do another unlicensed model car ever again - assuming of course Toyota and Universal Pictures actually care. I know if it was Disney or McDonalds - they will absolutely sue anyone making unlicensed merch.

Okay, you alluded to my big question with these Liberty Walk Ferrari models, these are tuner-licensed via LBWK so I'm not sure how they get away with the Ferrari badging? Is there some kind of legal loophole that lets them use the Ferrari badging without permission or are these LBWK models co-licensed by Ferrari (or, rather, Ferrari's diecast middleman May Cheong Group)?

#3 PLEASE, Mini GT, please please stop with US blister packs. Card are is great, but I'd skip that card for just the box please, like the rest of the world.

For me it's space. I don't have much space for 1/18, maybe one or two, but 1/43 seems like such a sweet spot for max detail and small package. 1/64 is where I am, mostly because of price points and space, and I think it's all fueled by Hot Wheels sizing. Spending $50-$80 on a 1/64 resin model hurts the wallet, but it's almost the same detail as a 1/18 shrunk down, and the same 1/18 model would be $300-$400. But you can get incredible diecast models from CM, Tarmac, for $20-$25, and Mini GT hits strong at $12-$20. So the need for 1/43 is decreasing due to 1/64 popularity, price points, and space.

You can probably install some sort of rubber edge on the door (like one for frame less shower doors).

Hey James, do you think the models are safe to be displayed without the base? I heard some instances where the tire flat-spot because of the diecast weight or even the rubber sticking to the glass. I wanted to take off the base too for my ignition model but don’t want to ruin the tires.
@modelcarshouston11 күн бұрын
The irony was that removing the cars off the base already had flat spots due to the screws being so tight against the base and tire!
