You can't fling phlage if it doesn't escape, although if an opponent responds to his ETB trigger you can then fling phlage

You can actually! The sacrifice trigger goes on the stack so you can respond to it before it gets sacrificed

@levisdeckbox it won't allow you to respond to it in arena and judges at lgs' have confirmed the same thing. Once he enters by not escaping he gets instantly sacked. Same with kroxa and uro. If you cast him then an opponent responds you could then fling him

@@chrisboyce7188 if you're in full control you can indeed respond to the trigger going on the stack. flinging does work.

You can respond to it on arena but only if you use full control mode. If you don’t have it activated then it will pass priority but if you do have it then it gives you the option to respond
