When it comes to shifting vs rotating, I don’t think it’s an either or thing. You shift then rotate on the backswing and downswing. It’s all sequencing. If you do some step drills, it’s pretty easy to find your natural and fluid rhythm.

Many guys away too much on the backswing Brian which is why working on a centred pivot works really well
