This Nova Scotia Hiking Trail Has It All! | Delaps Cove

The Delaps Cove Wilderness Trail System has two separate looped trails, Bohaker Trail and Charlies Trail that are connected by the Shore Road Trail. The Delaps Cover Wilderness Trail System is located in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, just 24 kms from historic Annapolis Royal.
This trail system has it all. Forests, coastal views, a waterfall, history and a chance to witness the highest tides in the world along the Bay of Fundy. This is a trail we like to to visit a few times each year. The road to the trailhead is a bit steep and rough, but passable by car if you are careful. There is parking, garbage bins and a pit toilet at the trailhead. This is a popular hiking trail, but even with multiple cars in the lot you can have it mostly to yourself as hikes spread out along the loops.
This trail system is a must visit if you are planning any Nova Scotia adventures along the Bay of Fundy or in Annapolis County.

Another fantastic area to visit on my forever growing list! lol Didn't realize they had the memorial there...nice! I'd say that falls staging didn't look particularly safe! Yikes! Always love the waves!! A great day indeed!!

Sorry to keep your list growing 😀 We didn’t know if the memorial there, either, but felt it was worth a mention as it is so well done. The platform looked secure and we’ve been on it before, but I agree the flow of water under it was concerning. Kirstie wouldn’t let me out on it, for some reason 😝

You guys always give me ideas of places to go. I dont know where you guys live but thats 2 hours away from me! Its a long drive but maybe eventually ill make my way out there looks like a nice trail to hike.
