Another fantastic area to visit on my forever growing list! lol Didn't realize they had the memorial there...nice! I'd say that falls staging didn't look particularly safe! Yikes! Always love the waves!! A great day indeed!!
@cattledogsandco2 күн бұрын
Sorry to keep your list growing 😀 We didn’t know if the memorial there, either, but felt it was worth a mention as it is so well done. The platform looked secure and we’ve been on it before, but I agree the flow of water under it was concerning. Kirstie wouldn’t let me out on it, for some reason 😝

Thank you for checking out this week’s video. It really is a nice trail with the Charlie’s trail being just as nice (but no waterfall).

You guys always give me ideas of places to go. I dont know where you guys live but thats 2 hours away from me! Its a long drive but maybe eventually ill make my way out there looks like a nice trail to hike.

It would definitely be worth the drive on a nice day. We’re glad our videos are giving you ideas on places to go and explore! Thanks for checking out this week’s video.

How long did it take to do the hike?
@cattledogsandco2 күн бұрын
It takes around thirty minutes to go each way and the total time of the hike would be depending on how long you stay at the top. I recommend taking a bit of time at the top to take in the sights/nature. Thanks for checking out the video.

I have the same camper . And i have 2 dogs ...and explore nova Scotia. I have limitations on how far i can walk. But i never give up...i enjoy your videos and keep exploring. Because there is so much to see.

We totally agree. There is so much to see in this great province and the Maritimes in general. Who knows, we may see it on the road some time.

Oh my, not the way I remember this area looking a few years back...so many trees down across the trail. Otis doesn't keep a secret well, and would certainly tell you that we have missed turns in trails too many times to mention! LOL Hope you and the pups had a great time at agility! Enjoy the week ahead!

It’s great having a navigator like Otis! We definitely enjoyed the trail. There are so many different routes one can take (on dryer days) up there.

Hi there. Great video and so helpful! I just bought the same camper this week and can’t wait to take it out with my Blue Heeler Bruce. Question on the Bluetooth speakers: unless I’m completely missing it, I’m not seeing a Bluetooth stereo on the inside of the camper. How do you get the speakers to work? Edit: Ope, scratch that. Found the speakers with my phone’s Bluetooth and the password from my paperwork 🤦♀️ Would also love to see more of your tarp setup. Thanks!
@cattledogsandco22 күн бұрын
Hello. Thanks for checking out the video. I’m glad you were able to solve the speaker issue. To be honest, I had to ask the Facebook group how to do it. (If you haven’t joined the group [Viking 9.0 and 12.0 TD trailers from Coachman], I recommend it. There’s lots of pointers and ideas that are shared there.) We’ll make sure we show our tarp setup when we start hitting some sites again. To summarize it, I have sections of pre-cut rope that I tied carabiners to one end to connect to the tarp and then leave the other side free to tie around trees. I hope you and Bruce enjoy the trailer as much as we do.

My grandmother worked back there. They own the house halfway to Weymouth, so the workers would stay there and carry on the next day by horse and buggy.

I have a 2024 Subaru CrossTrek Wilderness edition rated at 3,500 pounds towing. Does anyone have experience with this as a tow vehicle?
@cattledogsandcoАй бұрын
Hello, No, the Jeep has no issues hauling the trailer. It’s rated for the same weight capacity as your Subaru. Having said that, on hills you may want to make sure it doesn’t stay in too low of a gear. I often switch to the manual feature to make sure it’s not revving too high (and burning too much fuel).

Why does the third dog have a mouth harness and a straps that looks like it restricts her range of motion?
@cattledogsandcoАй бұрын
It’s called a halti and it helps prevent pulling. At the time she was recovering from an injury and her vet recommended easy walking but no pulling. She’s healed now!

Most trails, provincial and National Parks in our area require a leash. We have a large property and they get lots of free time there so we don’t mind.
