You'll NOT find anybody from the 18th & 19th century standing on a platform that was constructed in the 1980s/1990s, The platform is only there to drop off visitors to the incline winding house. None of the equipment in the underground section was used or came from Bowes/Springwell colliery, it all came from other collieries such as Westoe, there's was a picture published in the Gateshead Post, around 25 years ago, of me and a lad accepting delivery of one of the ex underground Westoe locos, this came via Huwoods. I saw & heard nowt in all the time I was there. Ps thanks for the laughs

Great video you should see if you could do a place called otterburn castle in otterburn northumberland i have heard a lot of ghost storeys from people that have worked there is a very cool place
