Cool thing Billy! If you can send this response to the creators: Please remove the clip time limit in the free version. Maybe lower the recording session limit to just 2 free per month. But yeah, please get rid of the 5 min per clip limitation of the free version. Everything else is perfect.

That makes sense, Ill let them know. However, if its something you really like and want to support please do so. They are a really new company created by another Davinci Resolve youtuber named William Justice. He is doing a ton of crazy things with this software in the future! But if you cant support it financially, please do so by word of mouth. It truly is a great tool :)

Do you know how to use a HUD effect created in fusion (Davinci Resolve) and integrate it with head movement tracking? I have created a simulated focusing element but cannot figure out how to enable tracking (stick it to) someones eye.

That make sense, The nice thing about this is if something with the tool goes wrong then you still have your footage and it wont mess it up at all. As mentioned in the video, you can get the first month free if you want to try it out. If not now, then at least try it at some point. Im telling you, this is gonna be a really big thing one day. Like Frame IO kinda big. It just works. Sorry, im really excited about it and I really am excited that it can help people save time :) Time is the one thing we cant get back. Defiently going to try this! I have a camera remote and I turn it off / on for each take. Can it bulk run multiple files through the voice software or is it designed for one long take?

Wow... Where was this thing a couple weeks ago when I started (and since stopped due to storage issues and it getting in the way of the creative process) documenting me writing/recording my Debut Solo Album? This is a fantastic idea. I’m definitely utilizing it going forward! 🙏

Nice tool! What is the percentage error that it makes? i.e. what percent of my footage will it discard that would actually be usable?

Great question, so what I found is that if you start your camera when it says to hit record then you wont discard any footage. Months ago there was an error that would mess some cuts up, but they have since fixed it and its been smooth sailing for about 3 months now.

I like Bill, so I hope it does well. For me, I sometimes don't know what a good or bad take looks like until I see the footage. So some features have limited usefulness. The silence remover would be a life saver. Maybe they'll sell that standalone for $100; I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Hey Kyle, That makes sense. What I do if If I know that was a bad take, like if I mess up or am just staring at the camera, I remove all that. If I think it could be a good take I save it and go through it later :) I dont know if they will sell a standalone version now since the software is brand new and they are pushing a ton of cool features through like "Edit to the beat" and other things like that. Its possible one day though. You can get the first month free, check it out and see if it works for you. If not then cancel :)

This looks like a perfect solution for me, who does KZfaq videos every single week (2 videos a week). Cutting down a-roll is the worst,! If it could just save me 15 minutes of editing per video, that's 2 hours of editing per month that I now can do something else. For $15, definitely worth trying out!!! Thanks for sharing this 🙌🏻

hey billy I was doing the steps in your old video about outlines on the bike the yellow one and i got to the step with the black background and my black backround was distorted like you could see it a little bit, this is the best way to describe it, it was the same angle as the starwars beggining words like tilted and contorted how do i make it like a flat backround like in yours

The good thing is that you can create proxies from the XML instead of doing it from the beggining I was thibking of a tool like this some time and finally someone did it.

They have a version that allows you to label different scenes that are out of order. I think its switchtake director. Check it out, you'll have the first month free and you can cancel if you don't like it.

Thanks for sharing this interesting video! I like the idea, but I dislike the subscription concept. My wife and I just went over how much we pay each year in subscriptions related to video production; we were flabbergasted, and plan to ween ourselves off many of them.

It doesnt work for me. It tells me I have to connect to the internet which I am and then it quits on me. No function works at all I’ve tried restarting my phone and redownloading the app a few times with no success.

I think this has potential, but your video was confusing. You used a phone to run the program, but you showed pushing a button on a camera. If I was using three cameras, would I be using three more phones? It would be helpful if you could show a studio setup and how the program interfaces with the studio cameras you are using. In short, I am confused on how this works.

What do you mean Simplistic add on? It saves hours of time a month. How much is your time worth? Minimum wage in US is $15 an hour. Odds are if you do this for a living its way more than $15. I personally will remove 3-4 hours of junk footage a month using this tool. One hour of my time editing is a fraction of what this app costs. If you dont make videos that often, then its not for you. Time is the one thing we cant get back, if I can help people save it then im all for it :)

Nah, not at all. It costs no extra time to add this tool into the workflow. And with the time you dont remove using the tool you'll just have to spend it & more on an editor who can cut through everything you didnt pre-edit out. Also, odds are if you pay $15 an hour for an editor they are either super new and dont know what they are doing or you are gonna get bare bones editing.

Yeah, most of my videos take about that time or longer. Especially if its SUPER technical. Like the longest I recorded was a 1 hour and 45 minutes! It was brutal!

Even if the monthly subscription would save you multiple hours a month? Minimum wage is $15 an hour. Roughly one hour of saved time with this tool would pay for it outright. We all know that monthly payments suck, but wasting time sucks even more. Time is the one thing we cant get back. But if you dont want to pay a subscription then its you choice. Personally Im going to keep supporting this software because I believe it will save people SOOO much time.

How is this scummy? Its a video telling you a cool tool that will speed up content creation. It's not a sponsored video at all. Just in case I did put the Sponsored video button though. I've been beta testing it for a long time. So im excited for the product now that its officially out! I received no money to make this video bro.
