I also could use “makeup that’s easy to reapply after you’ve been crying” 😭 this current bout of depression is so weird because usually by this time of year the clouds are parting and I’m running on “spring coming” energy… but instead I just can’t with anything.

The Phytosurgence shadows do crease on me but just a little bit, significantly less than anything else. And I love them cuz it is easy to pat out the creasing and I don't lose too much impact from the shadows. Everything creases on my eyelids!

Love these recommendations….and also love your wit, intelligence and candor….that ATHR eyeshadow is so, so good. It was in a beauty box I received awhile ago, and still a daily go to for use; it was a wonderful surprise to get in my beauty box; and you are correct, it is very user friendly for all levels of experience. And….the L’Oréal Amber Rush…..classic but necessary, have a wonderful week.

I broke my no-buy from the last 3 months to get one of the new phytosurgence shadows. Also in case you want another brand to review that’s cost effective, I just tried Silk Naturals foundation and peach concealer and HOLY COW! Love it so much. I like the shade match for me better than WA. The foundation dries down and really feels undetectable when used sparingly as a concealer. The peach concealer blocks out my dark circles like nothing else. You can buy individual samples and the samples go pretty far (like 1-2 weeks of use). The shadows and lip products are lovely too, but I prefer pressed shadows or cream shadows for the ease of use.

The Dior fragrance has started bugging me enough I’ve gone on a hunt for a new foundation. That smell just does not dissipate!! Unrelated, my favorite depression meme is from The Oatmeal where the guy is in bed and it says “New Year”s Resolution: Be more enthusiastic” and in the next box he’s jumping out of bed, exclaiming “I’m super depressed!!” 🤣🤣😭🤣🤣

That’s so interesting. Westman Atelier biscuit looks a bit bronze on you and had some yellow. On me it is soooo rosy and pink, so that it almost doesn’t work because it exaggerates redness in my skin and doesn’t look very flattering. It’s wearable but definitely not my favourite shade. The salt New York contour and bronzer work really well for me colour wise.

Really appreciate the concealer comparison! I have been using the Make concealer almost every day! I keep wanting to buy the kosas but I am not quite happy with any of the shades even though there are a bunch that are pretty darn close for me. I like the Make in 01 but somehow kosas 1.5 seems too light and 2 is too dark/yellow. If you’re looking for another concealer to compare I would love to know your thoughts on the Sephora collection serum concealer!

Dior complexion shades are so wild! I love the formula of Dior backstage F&B but oh my goodness the saturation is out of this world! All of their fair foundations are that way. Makes it unwearable for me

I found the bite foundation for freaking $4 before it left and its too bad its gone now! Also i got the tula spray with the idea of using it as a setting spray only to realize im just not that person. Now after i cleanse i use this first before adding serums and freaking GaMeChaNgER 😱😱

Similar but different series idea: "THIS, BUT..." where we say "I love this product except for x issue" and then you talk about things that are similar while potentially solving the issue we have. For example-I am currently obsessed with the Make Beauty serum balm formula. It's so damn nourishing. BUT the packaging is, while gorgeous, HUGE and not practical/comfortable for a jeans pocket. The closest thing I've got right now is the ami cole, but it's still a bit stickier. So, on my desk while working or if there's a handbag situation it's the Make, but if I need something in my pocket, it's ami cole. I can't be the only one who would find this super helpful

I like the thumbnails with background that look like the video itself. Anything else feels weirdly like I don’t know what I’m getting myself into even though with Kackie I clearly know to expect beautiful art in the background!
