This minister is definitely an old school Evangelical which is quite rare today in an Evangelical Church, because I was raised and educated as an Evangelical Congregation in the 60’s. We were also taught about false prophets too. I never thought I’d see the day our church would take the wrong path but it did when the church condoned Televangelism and politics. It was church policy which is still in effect to keep politics out of the church. Our church was bi racial. When the church accepted the Orange Jesus collectively, I shunned them.

"politics is of this world" THANK YOU for stating the truth. That's so rare in Christendom today. Jesus said "If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you." but it appears that 99% of Christendom is very much a part of this world and therefore no part with Jesus. Perhaps as little as 1% of people who claim to be Christians in this world are true followers of Christ and separate themselves from the operation/politics of this world. The vast majority devote their loyalty to some political party or nation. Nationalism is not Christianity. There are Christians in all nations and no nation is better than another in God's eyes. In fact, God will soon destroy "all" nations (see if you can find the word "all" in Daniel 2:44) to establish what Jesus taught us to pray for; "thy Kingdom come, thy will be done ON EARTH as it is in Heaven".

Thank you thank you thank you…. I immediately knew the Trump Bible and the Christianity is American premise was wrong but I just couldn’t find the words to explain in depth why I was so insulted. My answer was the Bible is the Word of God and the documents were written by man., but I truly appreciate the deeper and more learned explanation.
