I agree. I feel it’s a self-realization of who they are actually “being” versus who they “claim” to be, and a lot of times not realizing you’re not living up to who you claim to be. When those two don’t align it’s a major shock to self. I know that’s been the case for myself in my own journey. It’s like “wait I thought I was xyz” but realizing my behavior whether it be allowing things, not doing or doing things- meant I actually was not in alignment with who I thought I was. It took a mirror projection, like my twin to send that shock value.

He did he get someone else pregnant. He's a partyer and drinker. He didn't give a damn who he hurt to get what he wanted. He'd send me deep love songs (music was a big part of our connection), he had a hard time expressing himself and I understood that but his actions never matched so I consider him a liar and trickster. He had a crappy childhood, really bad, and he's been depressed forever. I tried to be a shoulder for him, not just lovers but a friend and adviser. We've known each other since we were young teens. I understand how he feels about himself internally, but it's not an excuse for how he treats people. One of the last songs he sent started with "I just want to be loved, I just want to be seen". It just seems one woman and pure love aren't ever going to be enough for him.

Freed myself officially last night. We both said what we needed to say. It was sad and heartbreaking but it’s for the best. We brought out the worst in each other. oh gosh...this message is for me. I left him in December because he refused to work on our problems, then we got back together in february and he left me saying he no longer found me attractive and that he didn't miss me when I am not around. Then he appeared again on his birthday with a red rose and disappeared again. Then I tried to reconnect multiple times and he refused very harshly. Then I started dating again and, almost immediately...he left a message saying he realised he really messed up, that his life is empty without me and that we should meet. Too little, too late...

Hey, reached out on the full moon a couple months ago and told me that he was ashamed and embarrassed for the way he treated me and that he missed me and I told him the things he said to me were and that he needed to give me a massive apology to fix things and that’s the last I ever heard. I asked him if he cried over me and he said no I haven’t cried for 20 years and I said well if you haven’t cried, then you’re not sorry he definitely doesn’t know how to deal with his feelings and he has fatherhood wounds and also I wouldn’t be surprised if he knocked somebody up because he has a player I know he’s in big regret and maybe he’s seen himself for how he’s been to me and other people. Maybe he’ll turn himself around.

Last video was about an apology. I'm like that's not genuinely going to happen from me. I just did this morning after I sent him the symptoms of autism. High functioning. Explains most of his behavior. I'm like I don't think he's a mean person he just has more boundaries then most people. And he does compromise his boundaries in consideration of others feelings.
