We first head over to the Al Shahaniya camel race track. Unfortunately there were no races at the time we went but we did spot a few camels. Our guide explained all about the camel races and how they are an integral part of Qatar's culture. Next we visit the Zekreet rock formations. Zekreet is on the west coast of Qatar and is a 1 hour drive from Central Doha. Surrounded by unique mushroom like limestone rock formations, this area gives us the feeling we're on Mars! Next and final stop is at the Richard Serra art installation. completed in 2014, this art installation spans over a kilometer and comprises of four steel plates, each over 14 meters in height.
