Good review. Mine comes tomorrow, can't wait. I'm making the switch from ISO and Keychron. I'm not a fan of the colour as I'm not into the retro look, but I am tempted to paint the chassis and will definitely be replacing the keys with doubleshot PBT. I love the layout of this keyboard after being disappointed by Keychrons removal of printscreen, scrollock and pause/break and replaced with their stupid custom buttons that you can't remap!

This board would definetly benefit from force break. Also the normie bottom row and knob kinda ruin the looks for me, otherwise its a pretty board!

Yeah I would have loved to see some bottom row customisation. The board definitely has a retro aesthetic which I can appreciate, ill have to look into force break too. Appreciate the comment!

“As a foreign company I can’t really criticize them for [imperfect translation]” - in regards to the phrases on the back of the box While I agree that it doesn’t bother me, I do think a company the scale of epomaker could be held to the standard of paying literally one person that speaks both languages properly to translate a few phrases. This is a huge pet peeve of mine though. Just incredible laziness that inspires distrust in the care taken with other aspects of the product. Don’t wanna translate? Don’t put the words on the English box, or just leave the original language ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Nice vid mate, still a banger board to be honest

Yeah I agree, I can definitely see what you mean when you say it inspires distrust. Hopefully Epomaker will consider changing future products like this when they see this video 🧐. Really glad you enjoyed!

Is it just me, or does the knob look off center? Also, I find nitpicking small inconsistencies like keycap imperfections and the necessary need for foam to be fair criticism. Some can argue that it's a budget board, but that shouldn't excempt it from the same criteria more expensive boards have. Competitively priced products also need to look and feel competitive.

Cheers! I 100% agree. While it is easy to write off these issues as just being “expected” of a budget product I don’t believe its good enough to justify them because of the price tag. Appreciate the comment!
