It's not even a matter of judgement, but rather of fact. In no way is sexuality to ever be celebrated and integrated into worship. I don't care if it's homosexuality or heterosexuality. It has no place on holy grounds. What people do outside of The Church should remain outside of The Church. Don't bring their bedrooms or their personal lives into the mass to be put on display in front of the altar. I have zero problems with homosexual persons coming to mass. YES! Do that! Do that a lot! But I would never wave my sexuality in front of their faces and they shouldn't wave theirs in front of anybody else's.

Christ Jesus is merciful and His Graces effective in changing the heart of the sinner. Humility is however mandatory. Not pride, that you automatically think you know better than more than seven thousand years of Judges, Prophets, God the Father, God the Son, Apostles, Church Fathers and Doctors and all the Saints. And yes it is perfectly reasonable to pray to God to help you understand why this is the case. These people don't know why their life is a mess, even the ones who profess Jesus, because 1 Romans 1:18-32 was too hard a teaching for them to bear, but exactly this is what happens. They are given over to a reprobate sense. And it's very difficult to get out of once they fall into it. Because the sense and reason and entire way of interacting with the entirety reality is skewed, off. Because it's characterised by the projection of powerful escapist fantasies onto the world. So of course the world isn't how they see it. They feel extremely powerful feelings they think are love. They may even genuinely love, but the relationship is tainted with a disordered sexual desire to the point of obsession. Often they don't actually see the person the sincerely think they love, instead they love the idol they have made in their mind that they have projected onto the person. In extreme cases they may profess love even while repeating over and again what is clearly a creepy script that has very little to do with reality, let alone the needs of the other partner, who is objectified to the point of being a masturbatory object. But they just can't see it. It behoves us to with compassion and patience witness Christ to them, that they may be free of their sweet seeming delusion that is poisoning them mind, body and soul as well as their relationship with others and with God.

This seems to really only be a problem in the north. Cultural catholicsm has long reigned over there and they are closing churches down all the time. Here in the south, there is a Catholic boom going on, lots of conservative catholics and lapsed catholics coming back and taking up traditional values. For the first time in history we have more Catholics than the north. I have never even heard of a parish like this before.
