This Realistic Shrimp Lure Catches Everything!

Күн бұрынIncredible fishing outing on the rocky flats with a small shrimp/prawn lure! On just the second cast with this little lure, I caught a squid, a southern calamari, using a lure that wasn't specifically designed for squid. This marked my debut squid catch with a non-squid lure! Overall, it was a fantastic fishing session in Australia. Please feel free to share any tips or provide feedback on light tackle fishing in the comments below.
Fishing Gear used:
Rod: Samurai Reaction 7’ 2-4 lbs
Reel: Daiwa 2022 Exist 2000 D-P
Line: Daiwa Saltiga 12 braid PE 0.6
Leader: Nomad Tufflock 100% Fluorocarbon 8 lbs
Lure: Berkley 'Shimma Shrimp' 65mm 'Blue Tail'

Yeah they're really good man, dropped them in the water like 50 times and they're still as smooth as ever. Would be nice in the had an opening spring, but otherwise they're very good! :))

It takes practice for sure! Just have to learn how to use them and you'll be sweet. I only used bait until I was like 16 years old, and now I only use lures! just have to practice. Start off easy with some soft plastic grubs and go from there! 😁
