I remember when Rob was discussing the 600 OK on the accuratereloading forumn. I was debating building one, then I fired my 500 Jeffery and realized 600 gr @2200 fps was enough for me. I did fire my friends 577 T-Rex last year and that was an experience

It was interesting to see the 900 grain solid that you found on the ground. Sectional density seems quite decent. When you have shown the bullets from the 700 nitro express they look like a larger 45 Acp bullet, with poor sectional density. When a bullet weighs that much, then maybe it doesn’t matter, kind of like a cannon ball. Anyway, it would be interesting to see a penetration test between the two calibers, and maybe have the 4 bore and 577 Tyrannosaur thrown in too. A higher sectional density usually means a higher penetration.

I was once happy with just my 22 air rifle and compound bow, then i started watching your channel and in the last few months have added a 22lr, 12g strait pull shotgun and just two days ago for applied for a licence for a ruger 308. In western australia owning firearms the laws are pretty strict. So thankyou for giving me the gun bug
