I've seen countless videos on robot vacuums and robot mops but this particular video on the robot vac-mop is lacking clear information on it's mopping capabilities. So it's got a water tank and a cloth pad. I'm guessing it wets the cloth which then 'mops' the floor. Does it remove excess/dirty water from the floor like a squeegee or does it just push dirty water around the floor? The best actual mop robot I've seen is the iRobot Scooba which has unfortunately been discontinued. How does this robot mopping capabilities compare to say the Scooba?

It is not better than Scooba in my opinion. It just slides on top. In my opinion none of these robot vacuums are good enough about moping - better get a dedicated heavier device.

In my opinion - the yeedi Vac 2 Pro has super good mopping and is not that expensive.

I have the 360 s7 and I love it. I just moved and I have wall to wall carpet. It is not working on carpet 😫. Will the 360 s10 work on thick carpet. I read somewhere that some robot vacuums will detect carpet and will raise themselves.

WoW I am soooo jealous you got the 360 S10!!!! Wanna trade a Roborock S7 for this 🤔, how about a Narwal 😅. Just kidding, the 3D mapping system looks really cool and innovative. Probably make it easier to create No Go Zones and areas. The thin profile should allow it to get under more furniture. Keep up the good work!! Maybe someday a 360 S10 will land on my doorstep 😁

I must admit that with every robot vacuum you check, it seems they are getting better and closer to the point I'll say, "it will be able to handle our home" I still think such a robot won't be effective enough with the tight places here and not so comfy for such a robot furniture, but wow they are getting closer!

@@TechMishka I'm not following their prices that much, so my base line is the Irobot roomba that costs way too much here as far as I know, so from my point of view all of them are still cheaper lol, but I'm not yet ready to get one

Pretty unique. Sadly also pretty expensive, but... that's kind of usual when some newer technologies get integrated. Let's hope there will be more devices with 3-d maps soon.

When cleaning another floor, do you have to move the docking station to that other floor? A friend tells me her S10 always needs to start from the docking station ...

You can start from anywhere, but if it's a different floor, the vacuum won't be able to find it station once it's done. Next goal for these robots - a lift, or a drone extension 😎

Does this robot suffer from the problem with sunlight? That e.g. when there is sun shining directly on the floor it thinks that it is an obstacle? I know previous 360s had this issue.

Good way to learn something new! In the app there are the language packs - so go ahead and download a different language pack.

I have the s5. It's good. But the app is lacking in reliability and connectivity. Also none have a self emptying base for their prices... Plus all of their tanks are tiny. Battery life is OK but after a couple Months drops quickly. The brush sucks. It always gets pet hair stuck in the bristles. I wish s10 came with self emptying and brush cleaning base (like shark iq).

Yeah, would be nice to be self-emptying. The S5 is a great model and I like it a lot. It's battery capacity is not great, but kind of okayish. If your battery has degraded - there are plenty of replacement options. As for the brush - it's the same with most vacuums. I have Roborock S5 and it has the same problem...

Does it work on black carpets? Is the app still glacier slow? When you have shadows on your floor the robot will get stuck. I can only advise you to not get any robot of that company.

@@ricke95126 I have the 360 s7 and face the above mentioned issues. Unless they are fixed, I would not recommend getting any of their robots. Especially the slow app and problems with sun coming through windows and creating shadows on the floor which confuse the robot completely are no gos.

My s7 HAS the same issues you mentioned, my s9 doesn't, it's a newer model using LIDAR 3.0 so I think that improvement solved those problems. I don't have the app latency issue and I think it's because there are so few owners in the USA, the servers are not over loaded and are being used at a time when others are asleep. Once there Re more users we will have the same issues.

@@ricke95126 okay then two major issues got fixed which is very positive. The latency of the app using from Germany is barely tolerable. To start a cleaning process with loading the map and selecting rooms takes more than five minutes. I have to do that daily as we have kids, a dog and two floors in our house. It drives me nuts.

Anyone thinking about the S10 don’t get one I have one and it’s won’t connect to wifi and 360 is unable to offer a reason for the issue and have no solution, only get a reply from 360 every 24 hours Would not recommend

Hey Michael - I don't believe one particular complication is a good enough reason to claim a company is rubbish. Can you see any Wi-Fi from the vacuum? What is the kind of phone that you use for the connection? Keep pushing their support, they will eventually do whatever they are supposed to.

I had the same issue, after one month of using without any significant problems S10 suddenly went offline and I was trying to reconnect it maybe 20 times with no success, then even logging in into the 360 Robot app with my account stopped working, it was nothing wrong with my wifi router, Robot was even shown there as connected and online. At the end I re-install the application on my phone so and it was not connecting again, then all of a sudden the next day robot got back online, however..all maps and settings gone, so now I have to re-map and set everything from scratch which is not a very fun thing to do with 10 rooms and 2 floors. Not sure if this is a App issue or Robot firmware issue, however its not stable, I read alot of similar issues on forums and etc. I am very satisfied with the cleaning and navigation and app features, however it is of no use if you cannot use your app and reset robot 50 times and etc.

The whole cleaning algorithm looks different to me. The new 3-d systems makes big difference in my opinion. But it's true - the S9 is quite a decent device too.

Yeap I totally agree 👍 the S10 is a modest upgrade at best not an innovation which is why I am guessing they did not push this out to the review world, They priced that as a Flagship 2021 bot but they have a mid tier product, they made a product that competes with the N8+ Ecovacs mid teir bot.
