You can try this if you want but please repent of your sins anyone because Jesus christ died on the cross for you and he payed the wages of sin so all you have to do is srecive it you can do this by saying Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Please do this so you dont have to burn in hell for eternity and if you do this and TRULY belive and have faith you will be saved and whoever belives in him shall not perish but have eternal life with God! John 3:16 says but remember just because God is not responding to your praying does not mean he is not there because God is there all you have to do is seek him and pray because he Adores you and cares about you because he is the one and only God,savior and creater!!today not later

In the fish bowl was a power blue tang, blue tang, some sort of wrasse, and a coral beauty angelfish. These fish should be in a least a 180 gallon tank not a at most 5 gallon bowl he has them in.

Honestly it's disgraceful. In reality blue tangs are just not very good pet fish. They need at LEAST 150 gallons because they grow over a foot long- you should only be getting one if you have a very LARGE established reef tank. If you like the look of them but don't have enough space for a preferable 200+ gallon tank, get a bicolor angelfish instead- they only grow to around 6 inches, and require a smaller minimum tank size of between 60-70 gallons. But they're the exact same color scheme, and just as fun to watch! Though they can be a bit more agressive in reefs, in my experience of keeping some, they're really quite shy and won't bother anyone if you have more fish of similar sizes in the tank.

My boyfriend was recently house/dog sitting for his neighbor and he was so sad because they had a tiny bowl with not one but TWO goldfish in it and apparently they’ve been in there for like two years and I feel so bad for them and I wanted to so badly go buy a 60 gallon for those fish. It’s mot like they don’t have the money or space for a big tank either because it’s a pretty wealthy neighborhood and their house is huge so they’re just being ignorant and not wanted to properly take care of the poor fish.

Ok, my thoughts on the saltwater fishbowl. So... this is actually an interesting thing. I'm not _entirely_ bothered by it, my biggest issue is the fish stocking, for three reasons: Overstocked - HEAVILY overstocked. First off, that's a lot of fish for a tank that size _if it was fish only,_ because saltwater has a lower dissolved oxygen capacity than freshwater. And on top of that, that's not only a reef tank, that's a _micro reef_ tank. Fish stocking levels need to be kept to an absolute minimum in those in order to keep nitrate levels down, because corals are super-sensitive to nitrates. Mixing surgeonfish species - while both regals and powder blues are among the more peaceful surgeonfish species, there's a reason why they're called surgeonfish. They possess a scalpel-like blade that they use to fight with other surgeon fish. I'm actually impressed that those two surgeonfish are tolerant of each other in such a tiny space. Surgeonfish will grow bigger than that bowl - Now, I'm going to need to point out two things - first off, saltwater size standards are significantly larger than freshwater, since almost everything in saltwater gets pretty sizeable apart from some gobies, blennies, basslets and mandarinfish. Even a common clownfish, which is considered a small fish by saltwater standards, will dwarf anything considered "small" by freshwater standards. So you might find it interesting to know that surgeonfish are considered "medium" sized fish by saltwater standards. Thing is, they'll still grow to about a foot long. Coral Beauty will outgrow the tank - while not quite as big as surgeonfish, dwarf angels will still get decent-sized - about 4 to 5 inches. And they can be somewhat aggressive (which by saltwater standards is the equivalent of african cichlid levels of aggression by freshwater standards). Now, the good: Here's the thing. Micro reef tanks like that are _not_ unheard of. In fact, I've seen smaller - MUCH smaller. And you're more likely to be able to get _a_ fish in them than you are with micro aquascaped freshwater tanks, since the previously mentioned gobies, blennies, basslets and mandarinfish tend to stay small and also tend to have slow metabolisms. Additionally, you can technically even go unfiltered on a microreef _provided you have decent water flow through your rockwork,_ since live rock will function as a filter. How would I fix it: Literally just take the existing fish out (and return them to the store), and then put a mandarinfish and maybe a small shrimp or two in there, or maybe a porcelain crab or other small anemone crab. Or just leave it coral-only, it'll still look good like that.

@VestedUTuber
@VestedUTuber 3 жыл бұрын
Here's the thing about peace lilies - they're poisonous. They'll do well semi-submerged but I would strongly recommend NOT keeping them with any herbivorous fish that might try to nibble at them. And honestly, unless you're doing an open-topped aquarium, I wouldn't recommend them at all, because they NEED to have exposed foliage. Also, peace lilies are the most overrated arums and there's tons of other cool plants in this family that go under the radar. Caladium has very colorful leaves with striking patterning, for example. And then there's the infamous Amorphophallus genus which contains the Titan Aurum which is recorded as the worst smelling plant in existence and ALSO the largest bloom of any flowering plant, and the Devil's Tongue which has been documented as being able to bloom right out of its exposed bulb - neither of which make good houseplants due to their size and nasty stench (technically all Arums smell like rotting meat, but only species of the Amorphophallus genus actually have a detectable smell), but are VERY interesting and VERY hardy specimens for an exotic garden none the less. My advice of not keeping any of these in aquarium still stands, though.

BTW those folds on the axolotls sides probably aren't its ribs, they just naturally have folds or ridges in their skin. So although it was pretty skinny I'm pretty sure it was a healthy weight.

I really like a nice "rockscape" at the bottom of a tank for the shrimp and a nice "woodscape" at the top for the tetra's.

Another thing about the first salt water tank was that anemones can get VERY large. I’m not 100% sure what all the species were that the guy had but anemones can literally get the size of that bowl so not only are the fish overcrowded but the anemones will be too…

In the SW bowl they are: PBT (Powder Blue Tang) - Known to get 8”-9” Regal/Hippo Tang - Known to get 12” A wrasse of some sort - Get 4-5” And yeah a cleaner shrimp would do alright in there but it wouldn’t thrive
@apdroidgeek1737

I doubt a cleaner shrimp wouldn’t thrive in there. Cleaner shrimp only needs food and a good water quality.

what next? a quarter of a fish food pot worth of food (gravel) with a betta fish? their excuse: sir, I won't have to feed them anymore and the sun heats the "fish tank" as a heater and for a filter the betta fish picks up algae and shoots it out of his mouth making it go out of the "fish tank"
