Today, I discuss Honkai: Star Rail's v1.6 Character Ruan Mei, and showcase her with Sampo in Memory of Chaos, which is easily one of the BEST Ruan Mei and Sampo Teams! Ruan Mei and Sampo make an incredibly strong team because of how much Ruan Mei can buff him, and how much Sampo benefits from her kit that they DOMINATE Memory of Chaos 12 which is the hardest endgame in Honkai Star Rail! As for what Ruan Mei offers, she is a brand new Ice Harmony Character who focuses on increasing the damage of allies, increasing allies' speed, increasing weakness break efficiency of the team, delaying enemies, and much more! Her banner consists of Ruan Mei, Xueyi, Tingyun, and March 7th and will be the first phase of version 1.6. Kafka will be making a rerun alongside Dr. Ratio in the second phase of version 1.6.

If Sampo is doing all this I can't WAIT to see how Black Swan does on a Kafka-less team. You youtubers are really proving that as strong as Kakfa is she is NOT required to make these DoT Nihility characters shine. Even though I have Kafka and her light cone, that still makes me happy.

Im going to get Black Swan and run dot on both sides. I have Kafka, Sampo and Luka with fully maxed traces, Guinaifen almost fully built but she's been stuck at e0. Ruan Mei has been a fantastic upgrade for all of them.

I think I can try it for MoC 11! It'll be tougher on 12 because lack of fire weakness. I might also try kafka like teams or DOT teams in pure fiction to see how they do.

Hiii, I got to knew you content just know bc of this tournament. How do you fare this Sampo with Kafka LC? I never saw and erode kicking in this run, but definitely is something to consider. I always wanted to get ir for him bc of many factors, like another Nihility holding GNSW LC, now there’s Black Swan who might benefit for it as well… anyway should I pull it??? I’m in doubt bc I plan to make him a Breaker as well, stacking BE and Heaers LC from Herta… IDK sorry for the bible 🤧 loved you and Dreamy on the contest!!!

I run a speedy Sampo that reaches the 160 Glamoth threshold with Ruan Mei and he put in a lot of work on first half of MOC12 when I used him with Luka. I put full wind set on him so he has a lot of turns to do Toughness damage so Luka can clean up with a strong Physical break. Ruan Mei does so much for unconventional yet viable DoT teams that don't use Kafka. I can imagine that into Fire weak Guinaifen would have some crazy breaks. It's a shame that Fire weakness is pretty rare in later stages of MOC because it has a strong Break.

Still surprised no Kafka and Pela instead. Would've thought the team had enough break potential with the other 3. QQ with the 1 cycle though was up there with Sampo as the biggest highlights.

I actually have a video on my channel where I did it with Kafka instead :D! I mainly went with pela though for the def drops and ice weakness on enemies plus who doesn’t love sub dps crit pela :)

I tried ur team with E0 RM and Natasha instead of Luocha and I finished phases 1 within 4 cycles. Now im torn between trying to get E1 RM or Blade :x GG again for this great run 💪

Depends if you want to run dual dps teams or stick to hypercarries. IMO Blade excels in double dps situations, while getting E1 RM will 100% help you out with buffing someone to kingdom come.

I feel you my rolls on the thief set were horrrrible I've been trying to get 200% break effect since she came out i only have 168% do you think we should build max break effect or some other stats??

I’ve been trying to get a bit more break but mainly just focusing on her defensive stats so she has good sustainability and a good amount of break (minimum like 160, but max 200+ for more dmg with breaks!)

I used to run Sampo before switching to Guinaifen full time and even with black swan coming he pretty viable for F2P! Meanwhile im out here tryna get one more piece for Himeko and JY LC for my Herta😂😢

meanwhile, I struggled on my main account to 3* the new 2 floors, barely managed at the end good job Even with my best team: Jingliu, Blade, Ruan Mei and Linx to put all my power in the first half.... I can only do 4 cycles clear with this broken MoC buff :)

I run HH, e6 sampo, e6 guin [w entangle LC at S5], and ruan mei. Clears everything lol. Not even gonna bother pulling for kafka at this point. Might actually go for RM E1 cause that 20% def red + 16% def red from entangle + 18% def red from the DOT relic set means i dont need pela or... anyone else to clear content lmao ETA: can't forget about guins fire kiss lol add that in and yeh... game over

Doesnt Luocha has 70% effect res from his Traits? So that resistance on the Kafka wasnt really a luck, I mean if could be considered that it was lucky that Kafka targeted one guy that was almost guaranteed to resist the dominate effect

It’s a PVP tournament that’s been a thing for a few patches now and it’s usually once a patch. I linked the original video in my pinned comment but there’s a pick/ban system and both teams basically have to carefully choose which characters they want for themselves and also which to ban (kind of like esports) and then whichever team does the fastest cycles wins!

the herta shop LC is also a very good option on him for the break and other stats, goodnight sleep well for dmg, nihility has a lot of good light cones, i mainly liked kafkas for erode and the dmg increase, but its not needed to have a good sampo

well it is a tournament, so we tried to attempt our best runs/builds possible. sampo is also e6, and is ruan mei on the team? They combo together very well especially on MoC 12. Sampo can be a strong character overall but your team setup matters. I wouldn't say its a whale run though, since someone else in my comments did the same team (with natasha and not luocha and also e0 ruan mei) and got 4 cycles instead of 3 like mine. @@SenMid

@@SenMid Definitely not whale territory but dolphin maybe, that's expected from a CC since this is kinda their job. Ouf of everything shown here, I don't have only Kafka's LC and SW's LC as a F2P and could definitely also have both if I at least bought the Supply Pass every month since the start. Pass + Nameless Honor goes a long way with some luck.
