Per any MTG set I open a lot of the product to get a good feel for each set. D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms is starting to scare me and not in a spooky Halloween kind of way...

Hmmm, for some reason I feel more confident pulling mythics out of SET booster boxes despite WotC saying they have an equal Mythic pull rate as DRAFT booster boxes.

Tokens in this set will age well because of the dungeons that they had to print more of due to the mechanics.

I managed to pull 8 mythics in my box. Managed to snag all named dragons, Tiamat, The Book of Exalted Deeds and lolth extended art.

I'm relatively new to Magic, so I guess my first question is this: is it better to buy a draft box or a set booster box? From what I've read, the set booster is relatively new, and specifically designed for people who aren't interested in playing Draft or Limited, but does that translate into a better pull rate for what is essentially spending more on less cards?

Set booster packs GUARANTEE an alternative art card and a foil card in every pack, you also have a chance to pull a "list card" which can be from almost any set except maybe the first 5

I preordered a bunch of this and cancelled down to 2 collectors boxes and 2 gift bundles. May honestly cancel down to one collectors box and chick it in the bottom of a closet. Hard to believe this will have more than 2 cards over $10-20

Opened 25 boosters (4 prerelease sets and a draft booster), NOT EVEN A SINGLE MYTHIC The greatest card i found was an Alternate art version for Treasure Vault, that's it

Iymrith is probably going to crash and burn price wise once hype calms down. Inferno is a superior card power wise but fairly expensive for red. From those pulls the best card is easily Hobgoblin Bandit. He’s incredible.

Man, this collector Modern Horizons 2 box was terrible. Oh wait, it's a standard draft booster box. Unless they're supposed to have 10 Mythic foil Borderless cards and I wasn't aware, seemed pretty normal to me. Set boosters could be a better box if someone wants more hits.

This set is not worth buying packs, you should just buy singles. If you want to open packs, buy a Modern Horizons 2 bundle.

Overall this set has been very underwhelming to me so far, the class cards seem to be the best cards in the set aside from a few other honorable mentions

Let's all be real here, this is NOT a set you open up expecting to get value, there are basically no chase rares or mythics. My box will be used for Winston drafts with my friend and I'll be able to play SIX of those, and I'll keep all the cards. My first game of magic in over two years will be tomorrow afternoon and I'm SO stoked, DONT JUST CRACK PACKS, play drafts and get your money's worth.
