The 5000D is the best case case I've owned and looks amazing with the QL fans. The cabling is a bit bit tight at the back with 10 fans but everything at the front looks sweet. I didn't put a push/ pull fan config on my AIO either, just too much cabling for a 2oc difference. I didn't know about nanoleaf compatibility, so thanks for heads up!

Hell, I just rebuilt both my 5000d case machines with 7000D cases and 420 aio's....no loss of fans there lol.

You missed the opportunity to mount RGB fans on top of the power supply shroud which is an excellent option on these new RGB models. RGB is life 😂

I use SignalRGB to get similar(arguably better) RGB effects with support for my ASRock motherboard, Gigabyte GPU, and Steelseries keyboard as well. It also has nanoleaf integration. I used an H150i Elite Capellix XT instead of the H170i, so the front and side fans fit. Did have some clearance issues with the CPU cables, but I was able to route them over to the back of the case and around the radiator that way. It covers the fans, but it works.

I got a 5000d with 12 120mm fans with the h150i lcd using push pull, I can say that they do in fact fit.

This week I'm looking to buy a new custom desktop PC. I live in NZ. Corsair 5000D airflow white, Intel Core i7-14700K, iCue LCD 360mm liquid CPU cooler, MSI Ventus RTX 4080, MSI Tamahawk DDR5 motherboard, Corsair 1000W, 2TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD, 64GB DDR5 Corsair Platinum (4x16GB modules). We have some companies in NZ where they'll build and test all for you. Quote for my system is NZ$6,200 (incl. GST & overnight courier). Big upgrade from my 2016 system (GTX 1070, i7-6700k, 16GB DDR4, 1TB Samsung SATA SSD).

Also just had one of those noobie days. Built 2 PCs and both had a serious issue. One motherboard had 2 dimm slots, and the other would shut down due to over current protection, still need to troubleshoot that one.

nice. i put a 40mm rad on the side and 30mm on the top. The 5000d after many many many years, is the one that i stick. with a small revision can be the best out there. 4 things can change to be the best out there.

You can still fit the fans in the front, just remove the filter in the front and mount the fans the other side

Regis case is still awesome. Great design with amazing airflow, I use mine with ten Lian li sl infinity fans

I couldn't even get my Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 A-rgb rev 4 to fit up top of my Corsair 5000D Airflow so the case went back to Best Buy for a refund.

Isn’t there a version but with a glass front panel? That would look way more finished then the mesh without fans i think!

@Gear Seekers you actually can install 3x120mm fans in the front, just have to mount them on the front of the fan mounting bracket (or the “outside” if you will). Might need to remove the mesh filter but they will fit.

The 5000D can also fit 3x 140mm front and 3x 140mm top, BUT u need to use the lian li fans 140mm and install ur AIO on the side. my 5000D setup is like that. Incredibly enough, it does help lowering the temps!! by 5%-8%!!! I love how versatile this case is!!

in the 5000d airflow rgb? have u ever experienced the front being weird and lose? (the not easy removeable part). if u look from the front of the case its the left site/top corner of the case... just bought pc parts and that case and i checked it and first some plastic broke off (think it is normal) but then the front was yeah weird?

I'm building in this case right now, and when trying to mount the radioator, I found it does not fit, i have an Arctic LF 360 II RGB, but I see I can screw the radiator at one side, but not the side going to the mainboard. Seems like you did the same? only the outer screws, not the ones going to the back ?

Yo, could you help me. I have a Corsair 5000D RGB Airflow case. I have 3 fans in the front, 3 on top that are the 150i cooler ones, and then that one on top behind the graphics card. But that one, I can't seem to find in corsair Icue.. It stays white. It's a regular one like the case build in, just a 7th extra i bought seperatly but Icue doesn't find it.. I'm kinda lost

with regards to the front fans after installing the 420mm AIO is it possible to install two 140mm fans? or it should be 120mm only?

You know it's not right when you need to spend 50-100 for the highest end fans

How come you could fit a 420mm AiO when it specifically can only fit a 280mm or a 360mm AiO in the case?
