Honestly, at such a low rank as he and me are, if I see a Hanzo playing that bad, I'd probably mostly ignore him too. It's a psychological thing I like to do: leave bad players doing whatever the hell they're doing. If I pressure them too much, they might swap to a hero that they play better. If they're not doing much of anything, just leave them comfortable and go for all the rest of his team.

If they stay somewhere behind the enemy team, the other 4 players will have a disadvantage, thats especially in favour of the enemy tank, because there is 1 less player shooting at them while attacking.

@@aplacewherefunandfunkythin705 Well, I am punishing them by going for the rest of their team first until they stay 1v5 and get demolished. Strategically, the best thing you can do when an enemy is not doing much is just leave them not doing much but that doesn't mean I don't kill them with the rest of their team, I just don't focus them at all. Imagine a Sojourn who's bad at aim and is not getting any picks. She's already one less opponent. She's practically working on my team's favor. No need to focus her, just let her be. If I punish her too strongly, she might swap to Mei, for example, and get way more value for their team with walls, freeze and self-healing (abilities that don't require much aim). There's a bunch of psychological tricks you can do so the enemies play in your team's favor. I'm manipulating their choice of hero.

I was in Plat on DPS at the beginning of this season, and was holding it well in the previous season and actively playing. I’ve played more this season because I’ve been trying to regain my rank after falling down to silver, and I kind of stick out like a sore thumb in a lot of matches because I play like I still have plat teammates. I think the balance this season was my main issue, especially since I’m on console where the easier to play, previously over-buffed characters are even easier than the harder ones. Do you think I’m destined to stay in silver now that I’ve actually equalized my win-rate, or do you think I can climb a bit back up after the changes that have been made and then regain my rank next season when the nerfs hit? Edit: Forgot to mention, I no longer play with Aim Assist since the latter half of Season 5. I think there were 3 weeks left when I decided to go full turkey, because I want to be able to play at my college (maybe even sub-in for he varsity) with my controller, and there won’t be aim assist on PC, obviously.

Yeah, my Hanzo is i think top 500 at least, i mean i miss some shots and get really nervous when i shoot anything else than the tank but i usually dominate on my gold 5 matches 😂😂😂

On PC i would Say absolutely not, mine sucks but Is more consistent than that. since that Is console, i actually have no idea if this aim can compete in Gold. But positioning Is something that probably Is more "Universal", so i was more confident to say that this belong to low silver.

I would agree Hanzo is easier to get value though especially in low ranks, if this was a few ranks higher this person would of been dead most the game.

They know the map, are trying, and do hit some shots. That's good enough for console silver. These no awareness opponents are probably sitting on their couches with not great audio and just tunnel visioned away from them. That awareness changes at higher levels though and is probably the main reason even beyond the aim they can't climb.
