Talking about counter swapping. I belive most people know how to counter most tanks, but ask people about what counters any non flying dps or supports. So many ppl will go "uuhhhmm" So even lower ranks are annoying as tank due to counter swapping and they will shoot tank 99% of the time no matter what 😂

Pause. High deaths doesn't mean you're the problem (in certain conditions) I often have to deal with a tank that doesn't know what the W key is so me and the other dps are forced into frontlining only for our tank with 2 assists and 1 death starts complaining that we're dying to much, or I'll have a widow with 2 "kills" below 1k damage and 1 death complaining that I have died to many times when I'm 15 and 7

More tanks would queue if the made tank feel better. In OW 1, I was a tank main, but now in OW 2 because of the format change it feels awful so I'm now a support main. But even playing support feels worse with only one tank.

I truly believe tank got the DPS passive it would fix tank. You wouldn’t mind being a little squishy if you could actually kill anything. And you’d probably die a little less.

I hope they change the dps passive slightly. Like making it so it only activates when you do damage within a certain range or you have to land x amount of shots for it to activate.

@ShadowOfEntropy yeah something in that direction. You need to be rewarded for skill, not just tickling them from the other side of the map. The devs seem to be being more active with the community, and they are making meaningful changes. Hopefully, they'll use our ideas or come up with another creative solution. 🤟🏼

Honestly if this tank pays a bit more attention to low targets and characters around them (they missed a sombra that EMP’d their team like 10 seconds later) They’ll be a formidable tank 👍🏾

This is me tbh. Gm support. Almost gm dps. Plat tank. I haven't tried a ton of games. Just cba. Its just not fun dealing with all the cpunterpicking while your dps and support trash talk you. The amount of people i offered to teach or coach dps/sup was not small.

Like the others said, it's all about what your comfy with. Purists will tell you that not doing board/mouse is terrible but if you're not used to it, it can be a steep learning curve. Don't listen to purists on either side, whichever is your comfort spot play there :)

i have only played on console my entire life and played ow on ps4 up until 2021 when i finally saved up enough to get a PC. the learning curve has been huge. i was a diamond player on ps4, and i play in bronze/silver lobbies now (granted, i did take a 3 year hiatus from playing due to school/work/life) because keyboard/mouse controls are so hard to get used to after using a controller for so long. i cant tell you how many times i have fat fingered an ult or randomly used whatever cooldown is bound to 'e' when i meant to press w and it's caused me to die or lose a fight, and relearning a sensitivity for projectiles, like ana sleep sigma rock, etc is tough. i imagine the opposite is true to some extent as well, but i doubt there are many gamers who have only played on PC bc consoles are usually cheaper, so if u can afford a PC u can also afford a console ykwim? so im not really sure!

As a support main sense early ow1, healing was a pain when you had two tanks. If one was ball, then it was ok but you didn't see too many of them. 6v6 has a better feeling when it comes to tank but not support.

Screw it I'm going extreme. When do we remove role queue? Role queue gets added which means you finally get people who play tanks. Role queue hurts the game then because queue times on tank hurt people's ability to enjoy the game. 5v5 is made as a way to reduce queue times. Every problem we've faced since release of overwatch 2 stacks on top of it. People want 6v6 back to help take pain away from the 1 tank. People then argue role queue times will hurt the game once again. Let's just remove role queue

I don’t get people’s mentality with this. It’s like they think tank stats from the standard 5v5 game mode will be there for 6v6. They aren’t going to give hog 800hp in 6v6. Two tanks can still very easily die with lower hp. Just play a standard open q game. The game mode proves that 6v6 CAN work with the way tanks are balanced in that mode.
