No he said all of this to get out of the kings. He said if he wasn’t traded somewhere else where he gets more playing time then he would go back over seas. He knows Darko. He’s not going over seas. He’s a raptor and will stay as long as he plays

Don't believe the hype... he's staying. Darko believes Sasha Vezenkov could be a rotation player and help the team. He's a perfect fit for Darko's offense. The GM of Olympiacos BC, Nikos Lepeniotis, noted that while Sasha Vezenkov remains a member of the Olympiacos family in a broader sense, he is a player for the Toronto Raptors.

His agent told a Greek media outlet a few days ago he’s not leaving the NBA. This rumor of him leaving was before we traded for him. He didn’t like his role in Sacramento.

I'm actually hearing the exact opposite about Sasha. I heard he wants to stick around for another season in the NBA and he's intent on playing with the Raptors IF they give him minutes. The only reason he'll go back to the Euros will be if we don't play him which is possible.

His agent already told a Greek media outlet a few days ago that he wasn’t leaving the NBA and I don’t blame anyways for wanting to go back when he was on the Kings. . A Bulgarian guy in Sacramento ? What’s there to entertain him ? There’s nothing Sacramento especially for a European person. He spent years in Greece and loved the culture there. We got the Danforth aka Greek Town and taste of the Danforth is coming up. If he like’s their culture he will love hanging around the Danforth.

If he is under contract then unless he retires he has to report to the team ...then i think there is a cba rule that he couldn't just un retire and sign with another team for at least a season ...but this is a bit ridiculous that he wont show up

All these rumors of him leaving are coming from Greek reporters connected to teams that’s trying to sign him. Those rumors are not coming from him or his agent which is why his agent went public in Greece and said he’s not leaving. This was even before we traded for him which leads me to believe he likely knew the Raptors were working on a trade for him.
