This album has a little bit everything you could ask for. I love how they didn’t add any raps and stuck with the message of the song. That is the most important part. And most of us can relate when it comes to relationships. This was written very well and they killed it!

Jisoo’s part was hauntingly beautiful. Didn’t know she had that falsetto. The contrast between her high tone and Jennie’s low delivery was powerful. Lisa showcased vocals I didn’t know she had. Rose was brilliant per usual. Enjoyed this one a lot.

Happiest Girl imo their best song ever. They all shine in this one Jisoo's penetrating falseto and Lisa's sad power were apocalyptic, Jennie and Rosé lend their power to take it off.

I think "The happiest girl" surprised alot of people, just because its an emotional rollercoaster while listening to that song.. Alot of ppl can really relate to that and also experienced this. Jisoo her voice in there hits deep emotionally. Like you said, Blackpink is the 4 of them together.. alot of persons tend to forget that.

I loved it when you said you love them all together. For me, even though Lisa is my main but I do love every moments they are together, whenever they sing, whenever they have every kind of activities together. They are angles.💖💞

This song has the best chance of all of them on the album to become a standard because of what you said - it's relatable to everyone, and it's so well written and performed. What also blew Blinks minds was hearing how much their vocals have improved over the years. Lisa didn't even want to sing at one point.

Lisa's own company made sure to gaslight her for years. No wonder she stopped believing in her singing skills even though she was trained by a professional vocal coach for years before entering YG and was supposed to be a lead vocalist in the early version of Blackpink.

If you look at the lyrics there's a break between; "My heart only wants you." and "The moment you say no..." with the second part a hanging sentence, so my interpretation is she's saying she still loves you, but the moment you say no... (her heart breaks). I don't think the meaning is she only loves you because you say no.

Two things I understand in this song, First, this song is the only Ballad genre on a BlackPink album so far. As proof they can all sing. Songs with gentre ballads became an option to represent their talents, not only for their haters but for the world. Secondly, I agree with you, @Cliff Beats. This song is the only one from the 'Pink' side, representing all their songs from the 'Black' side.
