Vote for next time: Scooby-Doo! I LOVED that game as a kid and actually still go back to it sometimes now, it's so fun! Naff camera angles but the gameplay and mechanics were great! On to this video though: The first time I played this Spongebob game, I genuinely enjoyed it and had a lot of fun buuuut... looking back on it, yeah it hasn't aged well at all and was pretty janky. I had frustrations with it but I enjoyed it too much to really care? Idk, child me liked pretty colours in games and running around collecting shiny things.

Fun fact. My parents gave me a PS2 for Christmas in 2002 and this was the first game I got. I was four years old and being a SpongeBob fan I loved this game. I knew it was bad but I still played it. At 22 I still play it, I know it is subpar but it's just one of those games that just stick with you, nostalgic and sometimes annoying. I have some fond memories playing this game with my older sisters who now live in separate countries. When I want to go back, I sit back and play this game once more to go back to those simpler times without a worry in the world. Wish I could go back and experience it for the first time.

I replayed this a few years ago and the copy I got had a glitch where nearly everytime I left the map to another it would undo any objective I cleared in the map I left. This would happen at random and i was just lucky enough to save and replay portions without it becoming impossible but it sure was irritating AF.

I forgot the show moments where stupid patrick pretends to be a ostentatious little yuppy know-it-all and make SpongeBobs life harder for absolutely no reason.
