Ever made a squid schnitzel they are yum 😋 the Crystal Brook hotel in SA many years ago used to make them and also kangaroo schnitzels to die 4 😊😊 i haven't been for ages now not sure they still do them but it was the best tucker 👍the pub in middle off town and a fantastic bakery just up the rd the best egg and bacon pies 😀

Would be great to hear a little compare and contrast with life, travel, caravans, camping, food, BBQ's between Aussie and Sth Africa.

Monkey Mia very different when we were there 15 years ago. The caravan park then was like a dirt car park. Wasn’t impressed with the dolphin experience either. Too many people and the water was very cloudy. Looks like they have improved the facilities.

Awesome video guys. Dont be to discouraged about Bob traveling with you. We travel with dogs to and you wont believe how many dog friendly places are advertised and then you arrive and the excuse is the website has not been updated. So we bought a caravan and still waiting for delivery but at least they will have a nice place to stay where ever we go. We will just miss the parks, more than enough to see for a life time without parks. I am more concerned about the people buying up all the free camps and turning them into caravan parks, how selfish and entitled are they. Well, what an adventure was had by you both! But I think there has been too much sitting or standing at the monkey bar or any number of other bars in the last many months for Deryk to stay standing any length of time on his board! Still, sit paddling is a good way to get around. Poor Bobby howling. 🤣 And I can imagine while you two were galavanting on your boards, Bobby was sitting howling yet again. Probably just as well you didn't leave him for several days. He would not have made it. 😂 I looked after one of those once! Once was enough for him at my place! He came from just down the road 3doors away and supposedly I had him for 2wks while the owners went on holiday. But he didn't last the first night before he chewed his way out and created mayhem as well as howling at the top of his lungs. So I took him back to his place right then in the middle of the night where he promptly plonked himself on the verandah of the two story house and went to sleep! He was used to being there. So I fed, played and cared for him there for the duration. He was happy as pig in mud. I threw sticks every morning for an hour to tire him out then in the arvo I let him off the verandah again so he could go toilets and have a general run around. Then he put himself back up on the verandah and settled down for the night. Having got it all sorted that first time, I cared for him several more times over the course of several years for the people until they finally sold and moved.n However they were never able to leave him again unless he stayed at his own house. They had to have people go to their place to feed and care for him like I did. But I can see how, if you have a van, it makes it hard to leave the dog at home while you go away for a few days unless you leave the van behind too. There is a simple solution to these "no dogs allowed" impositions. Ignore it and take your dog anyway, (provided it is well behaved and obedient). If anyone challenges you, just tell them you are aboriginal. No one is likely to challenge you as these days, they risk being accused of being racist ! You might even get an apology 😊
