Shelly was diagnosed with breast cancer in May. This was a surprise to everyone. She is going to the see the surgeon to discuss her double mastectomy. Today is her appointment. Shelly and I are workaholics. She also is a very strong and independent person. She decided to go to the appointment by herself so that we did not waste any days off in case we need them during treatment. She did not want to document it on here in real time. I have waited until now to mention it. Just wanted to put it in her so the story is somewhat complete. We will share it when she is ready. Please keep her in your thoughts and send positive vibes her way. She will have a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. This will last until March 2023. This was recorded in May 2022.
During the first swing shift. I was trying to make videos of things I’d rather be doing instead of working for someone else. I have trying to not focus on making money and spending time with the family but somehow working always get in the way of that. Work/Life balance is something the new job preaches. This year I have struggled with that. Will make it a Life/Work balance in 2023. Wanted to document this. Also to show I don’t always set out to make money but most of the time it just happens. That’s what I enjoy doing is doing things I like to do and helping others and usually the money is just a bonus. Kind of a weird video. Want to also thank everyone who watches our videos. More searchable content coming in a few days. The summer 2022 video will be a mashup highlight video. As I was trying to focus on being present this year and not record everything which has become very hard. Thank you and pray for Shelly.
