Elder scrolls Skyrim anniversary edition for ps4 sucks. Elder Scrolls Skyrim for ps4 sucks. Because videos game today sucks, because someone buys a disk for the game, he or she has to pay for it again online on online purchase on online Plus, which is stupid, because why would you want to purchase it again, if you already have the disk, you should not have to pay for it online. Also people want to play in all of Tamerial offline on ps4, it should be truly free to play all of Tamerial in Elder Scrolls: Skyrim anniversary edition on ps4. You need to put paint over those marks on the tree. Trees can die from damage to the bark because illness and parasites can come in that way.
@dgmt1
@dgmt1 Жыл бұрын
This comment needs to be far higher. I doubt Shad understands the damage he is doing but it is frustrating to see live trees get damaged without considering the long-term effects. My family just went through a massive expensive of having to take down a giant red gum due to its decoration from insects and infection after being vandalized about 10 years ago. There is just no need to damage trees like that for a youtube video when there is plenty of dead wood to test against.

XVIIIc blades tend to be quite fragile when properly sharpened. It's just what happens when the blade is that thin.
@leonardomarquesbellini
@leonardomarquesbellini 8 ай бұрын
@@finalbossdit's weird how these blades even managed to become popular in the late 15th century, since this is when infantry started to really get armored up. You wouldn't think a blade made for chopping, but fragile against hard targets, would become popular when pretty much every target around was hard. But it did.
@coreygraybz

Since armor required other means of damage like blunt force trauma or joints, it makes sense to design a weapon that is better suited to less armored targets. You would switch weapons depending on the need to do so.

I received a spearhead from Balaur Arms with a damascus core a little over two weeks ago, and it looks like the only thing holding the core to the edge is solder. There are big blotches that are almost certainly welds to fill the gaps between core and edge that look so bad I actually put a little alcohol on it to check if it was paint. The edges are completely dull, there is visible scale left on parts of the blade, and there is a literal hole through the center of the blade that you can see straight through, which they somehow missed during the patch job with the welder despite it being directly next to the blotches. And on a lesser note, the socket was filled to the brim with dead red spiders from being left in storage for a long time. The key word here appears to be “consistency.”

The 5 most recent balaur arms sword models were made by lk chen and his people who specialize in functional and affordable Chinese weapons and he pumps out consistently good blades, all the issues with this specific blade are specific to pretty much all lk chen blades, theyre well made tough quality steel they just need a little sharpening kus they can't really ship razor sharp blades over a certain size from china but lk chen has a very good reputation, before balaur outsourced production to an unreputable Indian company then to windlass which is decent but their quality control isn't great, lk chen is better on all fronts so these new models should be awsome besides the edge which they make close enough to sharp that you wouldn't need to spend more than a minute or two on a stone and won't have any noticeable secondary bevel unless you put one on yourself

I love the triangular look. Broad base, straight taper, diamond cross section. I wonder what it would look like taken to the extreme, say a 4-5 inch wide base, 40 inch blade, but one handed grip.

yeah im with you on the affordable sword love, im not anywhere near wealthy enough yet to buy a sword more than maybe twice a year at most so these affordable but high quality weapons are 100% my thing.

Great video! Beautiful sword. Just kinda disappointed that we didn't get to see how well it can cut after sharpening and all. Was looking forward to it.

I would definitely recommend "Living Anachronism" here on youtube for that. He was a wonderful series on how to put an outfit together, from noob larp to really authentic looking.

Thank you for converting kilos to freedom units. I knew 1.5 would be a little over 3.25lbs but I wasn't sure by how much without a calculator. Damned fine review.

Ok so I did some digging about the steel for anyone who´s curious 60Si2MnA is an eqivalent to 9260H the H at the end matters only if you´re doing something called scanning induction hardening wich is very expensive and not something that sword makers do so we can basically look at it like regular 9260. 9260 is most comparable to 5160 except it has more silicon, a little bit of magnese and no chromium in terms of performance its pretty much identical to 5160 the difference is that 9260 is more ductile so it´ll flex farther than 5160 and it will rust quicker because it has no chromium it´s also better suited for differntial hardening wich is not something you would do to a european sword so it wouldn´t matter in this case thats pretty much all there is to it

A flexy 5160? Sounds like great steel for a rapier.
@samed497

@@DH-xw6jp Sure does but you're more likely to see it on a katana because of it's differential hardening capability On a rapier you would be more likely to find 6150 wich is also very simmilar to 5160 but less carbon, added vanadium,less hardness but better toughness and flexibility It's also way more common than 9260 This begs the question how 9260 stacks up to 6150 wich i couldn't find anything about

That is definitely a late medieval warsword. I have always looked at the XVIIIc as the warsword version of the XVIII oakeshott typology, and the XVIIIb as the longsword, although I am aware that I am over simplifying it. I wonder how wide a blade has to be to fit into the XVIIIc catergory, always assumed over 2 inches at the guard followed by the tapering blade profile.
@MizraimEvans
@MizraimEvans Жыл бұрын
yep, over 2 inches wide at the base qualifies as 18c for that type, following that everything else is in proportion.

@@MizraimEvans That's what I gathered from my research into the XVIIIc. Cheers.
