It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway.

Cane i know you may not want to. But i think its time you adjust your sliders. I didnt want to but, i could no longer get a pass rush, they would pick up my blitzes all the time and the constant over throws. It seems like the AI know's exactly what play's im calling even when i mix it up real good. Love the vids tho👍👍👍

I think there's a good chance Cane flashed the future QB's name on the screen somewhere after 20:06. I just don't know how we get one of these guys without giving up a 1st round pick. There aren't that many QB's with accuracy ratings well ahead of Westbrick's that aren't franchise QB's. Could it be Tua? The Jets were listed as a trade option when Cane was looking for IOL. He would be a massive upgrade in Accuracy ratings and I'm pretty sure the Jets are out of it already this season. But I think he would require a 1st round pick. Edit: Can't believe I'm about to say this but Mac Jones might also be an option. He's the backup on his team now with Trevor Lawrence starting. Plus he would be an upgrade in Accuracy ratings and likely wouldn't require a 1st round pick. He actually checks all the boxes. Kenny Pickett and Daniel Jones (lol) could also be options as well...

I could see it being Dak . All the accuracy’s are good , not the strongest arm but not really needed for canes offense . 34 so shouldn’t be terribly hard to leverage one of the QBs and a pick or two for him . I don’t think he’s gonna go out and trade for an Elite top 5 QB

No, I don’t think Tim canon should be fire. I think we do need to move on from Westbrook. He needs to do a lot more developing. I think he’s a very great second string quarterback but as of right now it’s not working out. We do need to move. we need to move on.

I love these series, keep up the good job cane but this one has had the same feel to it since year 2, it's either a close win or a blowout loss, the games feel the same for the most part, something feels off for this one. I don't know if it's sliders or the game just being trash but from the get go you can see where it's going and what the outcome of the game will be

Just a suggestion Cane, but what about Mac Jones? I admittedly haven't paid attention to his ratings, but I know he's been sitting behind Lawrence for at least year, so I think he should be relatively cheap to get while getting someone who can be a solid stable qb

I’m sorry but this feels more like a slider issue with the user passing, an 84/85 short accuracy should not be consistently missing short passes like this. I don’t think much is gonna change moving to a QB with lower and similar accuracy when that isn’t the entire issue.

Whether you end up trading for a qb or not, Mayweather has at the very least earned the colts game, he had a chance to start before and play amazing, definitely better than anyone expected, then his replacement gets drafted in the offseason, so he accepts his bench role and week in week out has to watch Westbrook miss throws he can make…the man’s been through hell after only doing good for the team, he’s earned a shot, and if he can do it against the 6-1 colts, he can do it against anyone. Trading for a quarterback is the right thing to do. Yes, we spent a premium pick on Westbrook, but this surrounding core is awesome and he's wasting it. This is easily a playoff team with a better quarterback, and we need to take advantage of our options. Also, I can't stress this enough- Tim Cannon *needs* to be fired if this team misses the playoffs again. There is far too much talent on this team to have it consistently wasted, and franly he should've been canned after last year

I really do think Westbrooks accuracy is just a slider issue. His ratings aren’t bad and misses wayyyy too many throws. Plus, madden isn’t one of those games where it plays different for guys even with the same ratings. Westbrook should not miss this many throws and I think it’s because of the sliders
