Hi Mark. I am from Mallorca and the 2 main traditional alcoholic drinks served in Mallorca there are "Hierbas" and "Palo". I highly recommend the "hierbas dulces" which is a very tasty herbal liquor. As far as non-alcoholic drinks go, just plain orange juice is very good there, especially from a town called Sóller, which is a nice costal town to visit if you have some spare time.

Love the video. I was fortunate to go last year for the week. Did the tennis and physical course (1 hour of physical training then 2 hours tennis). Really enjoyed the whole experience, and I echo all of your feedback/comments. I also had Frederico as my coach - he does not give an inch 😂. Thanks for video and bought back great memories! Yes...no doubt about it..he is a incredible human being, and incredible player and someone that had to go against everything to conquers his goals and he has done that with total integrity. Is my champion and example for a los of young people and hope they be able to follow his example.

Yo fui a la a academia el año pasado. Vi muchos lugares con sobrasada y la he probado antes y definitivamente quería probarla en el viaje. Después viajaba a Londres y pensé no podía llevarla pero resulta que sí; no llevé. Aún así pensé, después tengo que ir a Madrid y allá compro, pero no encontré, siendo que en Mallorca había en todos lados. Después me enteré que son de Mallorca. Tendré que regresar y probar los varios tipos!

I went last year 3rd week of May, same program but 3 days (4 hrs per day), and the program was 540euros, so for the 5.5 days must be around 1000euros. Prices vary depending on the season, this was sort of like mid range. Hotel night at the academy was like 125 euros per night. So in total for 4 nights, Sunday to Thursday and 12 hrs was 1,050 euros.

I would chose the same program, the 5.5 days to me would be too much tennis, actually the 4 hrs per day was a lot, barely made it, but would make the same.

As a high level American tennis player living in Europe (Paris, France), I was super interested in learning about your experience at the Rafa Nadal Academy. It's definitely something I've been interested in doing for a week as well sometime, so glad to hear about the in's and out's of the training sessions. (I've visited his academy back in 2016, but haven't had the chance of training there yet, so hopefully it'll happen soon thanks to hearing about your experience I'm extra motivated!) Have you tried other European academies as well? I heard the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in the south of France is great too!

Do you think the plus was too intense? I play about 3 hours a week rn so worried about injuring myself as well

Plus was not too intense for me, but keep in mind: 1) i play about 15-20 hours per week regularly 2) I work out as well (about 85% of my max in all body parts) 3) I do high level adult tournament play and regularly hit with high level high schoolers and college kids (8+ UTR) 4) i still ended up having a calf straight on the 5th day

Generally speaking, all tennis Academies I have been to explicitly states that they do not allow video recording on the court when drill sessions (public and private) start. This is to do 2 things: 1) protect the drill so people dont just post it everywhere. If this were to happen fewer people would want to go to the Academy 2) it would make some (if not most) guests on the court and coaches on the court uncomfortable I could go on more about this if you want, but these are the two major reasons.
