The vehicle you were talking about at the end of the video is called the DUKW (GMC type nomenclature, colloquially known as Duck) is a six-wheel-drive amphibious modification of the 2+1⁄2-ton CCKW trucks used by the U.S. military during World War II and the Korean War. The LK2 MK2 you were designing has no resemblance but during WW2 the U.S did create an amphibious vehicle called the Landing Vehicle Tracked to support U.S Marines during the Island Hopping Campaign against the Japanese.

When comparing, keep in mind the three things the contract is focused on. Those three things get a x4 multiplier for the relevant stats. So for a Saturation tank, neither Hard or Soft Damage gets a multiplier. Nor does Protection, so they're not too bothered about the armor you choose. They want everything designed to maximize Reliability, Repairability, and I think the third one is Mobility. So, for a Saturation tank, the engine is probably the most important, along with the tracks, but make sure not to sacrifice Reliability or Repairability for higher speed. I'm still playing catch up, so I haven't had a chance to actually fiddle with this one myself yet. Of course, combat reputation matters as well. For example, I've noticed the starting tanks tend to lose against infantry now. Especially after the first couple of battles. They didn't ask for Soft Damage, but having so little leaves them vulnerable to infantry.

I haven't played the new update but every take iv made has smashed infantry , gunning then down in the thousands with no losses , Maybe the armour helped 😁 But your not wrong , they do focus on reliability , probs could switch it slightly but it works as it is for now

Are they ever going to add Russian empire into the game ? It would be funny to see the Tsar tank or Mendeleev tank rolling through the fields :D. Great video as always, keep it up !

I imagine they will, since they have news about a Russian tank project already. No info on when it might happen though.

All countries are going to be added as far as I'm aware , I agree , the tsar tank would be hilarious , but I think they are going to be working in various improvements and then interwar period

I've noticed that sometimes I have to save my tank again while designing it, to get the silhouette to update properly.

You need to research the Firepower Category because the Mark 2 Cannon has fewer Crew Requirements and less weight. I've spent 100 hours experimenting with tank designs before the update caused me to delete my saves and now the game has gotten tougher on the easy difficulty.

The mark 2 cannon you mean the smaller 3 pounder ? It's alright , but lacks penetration , I like the 6 pounder more , the 3 pounder does come with some nice tech though which can be stuck into the 6 I haven't let steam update my game , just so it didn't delete my save XD Currently playing on medium difficulty

@@MoisTeaGaming The 3pdr might have less penetration but it has a higher attribute score and half the crew requirement (4 not 8) - cuts down on crew overcrowding in the Mark I and Mark V

Hey btw I just realize something, so if the fame of a vehicle increases every time it is used by a army doesn’t that mean that if you were to use the LK2 modernized version (as in yk the one with i think the whippet tracks and stuff) couldn’t you theoretically give it to enough people and get it used in battles to the point where it could be identical to the LK2 in terms of fame? And thus bump up the success points and stuff so you can charge just as much as the normal LK2?

Hmmmmm , I'm not sure The stats wouldn't add up , as it's heavier they aren't so keen but if the game was to increase you would think they would like it more But you can't rely on the fame increase as if you do a better version, which I'm always going to do , especially if it's being used the fame doesn't follow with it , so ... Don't think that would work
