Another life-saving use for the window-breakers that I'd like to bring to your attention is that of rescuing children & pets carelessly left locked inside parked vehicles during hot weather, as a child or animal can quickly become subjected to temperatures above 60C (140F) during Summer, especially so if it's painted a darker colour! Already this Summer here in Australia there's been a number of vehicles broken into by the Police after a child or pet has been discovered in distress, but tragically not always in time. Sadly, the effects of dehydration & heatstroke (hyperthermia) can be devastating!

Just ordered mine! I have a little story, very sad. There was an accident involving an electric/ keyless car the other day where three young ppl hit a metal pole and their car engulfed in flames. They could not unlock their doors and they burned inside the car. they were burned beyond recognition. That really shook me up along with ppl of other communities. I believe if at least one of them had something like this, that person could’ve broken out and saved the rest. Thank you guys for your services, I can’t wait for mine to arrive.

I bought the purple one (5 of them) last year... The Blade rusted within 6 months. - I keep if for the fact that the window breaker may possibly still work. (Thankfully, never had to use it.) I keep everything handy due to being a Housekeeping Supervisor in a retired Community. They tend to get stuck in their cars and the side job being a Care Giver, I shop a lot... You never know what or whom is left in a vehicle here in Florida. It truly saves lives! I recommend EVERYONE getting that device for the window breaker and also recommend replacing it at least one time a year for cutting of the seat belts. (Only if it is never used.) Thank you AWP - God Bless!

Nice! I got the original one a year ago and it still hangs from my key chain. The updates on this version look sweet. I'll have to grab a set so one can stay in the car. I do wonder if there would be anyway to include led lights onto it. If you run into trouble and its night it can get disorienting and hard to see what's around, a led light or two that come on when the clips pulled facing the pin part could be helpful and could serve as a flashlight for when you get out or a way to signal down help.

PLEASE READ THIS! I’ve asked you guys to address this three times but no one answers me… Is it true that these can not be used on laminated glass windows? And that most new cars from 2017 on have all laminated windows? If so, what should we do/use in these cases? I don’t want to hurt your sales of these things, but please inform us if they’re not going to work in late model vehicles! This could be a matter of life and death and I really feel you should address it. Thank you in advance for answering me this time!

All auto glass is made up of glass and a plastic that are laminated together. This has been a safety feature since the 80s. This is why people don't get cut to hell in car accidents but can die if their head went through a glass window at a home. All auto glass is laminated, so yes it will work.
@sl4983
@sl4983 11 ай бұрын
@@Noticing-Enjoyerwrong. He's talking about side windows. Only the front windshields have always been laminated, not the side windows. But now with window tinting done more often by the owner or the carmaker, this is what he's referring to. And, AWP has made a video about that, just have to find it. I hope they didn't take it down.

@@sl4983 oh sweet child, no I am right. If side and passenger glass wasn't made with lamentation, they would never pass safety crash rating. Imagine you are in a car crash and you get t-boned, you manged to survive but the passenger window smashes and slits your throat, and you die from blood loss? You've never heard of that happening, becuase all auto glass is made this way! Stop talking about things with authority that you have no clue about. Thank you!
@Noticing-Enjoyer
@Noticing-Enjoyer 11 ай бұрын
@@sl4983 BTW window tinting has nothing to do with the integrity of the glass, window tint is literally a film that is sticky on one side. This shows you have no idea what you are talking about. That's like saying a condom protects your penis from a samurai sword, it doesn't.

@@conken5623 Old, old cars used to have regular glass windshields. When it broke you got sharp pieces that caused sever cuts. So they invented tempered glass. This breaks into small pieces without the sharp edges. But when it breaks the whole piece breaks. So they invented laminated glass with a layer of plastic between layers of glass. Almost all windshields are laminated glass. The car door glass used to be tempered, but now some are laminated to help keep a person inside the vehicle in a crash. The problem is when you break the glass to escape it stays together in one piece. When you see rescuers rip out a windshield in one piece, that is laminated glass.

While I'm impressed by the new design, I have to apologise that last year I bought some of the older designed window-breakers from a local Australian importer simply because postage from the USA is ridiculously expensive.

@@JamieManouswhere do you live because the Good Samaritan law typically backs up a person for saving a child from a hot car.

Ordered several a week or so ago and put them in all the kids' cars (I have mine as well) and made them watch your video about them. Thanks AWP!

Jared.. Chris here I'm 60 grew up around junk yards seen and worked on many of cars trucks boats..it only works on tempered glass..not laminated...2017 and up all vehicles are required to have laminated on side doors passengers and driver.LAMINATED GLASS It's impossible to use that tool to break it. They made that law because to many people we're being killed on roll overs being ejected..2016 on down yes that tool will break the glass...

There is currently a huge missing persons case here in the UK. Nicola Bulley went missing on Friday 27th January. Her dog and her mobile phone were found around and on a bench which was close to the rivers edge up in Lancashire. Just wondered, if Adventures with Purpose have ever been called out to search for missing people who didn’t go missing along with a car? And whether it would be impossible to see a body underwater with the sonar equipment they use?

AWP and other setaarch groups in America are aware of the case. Local authorities should be given ample time before calling in Americans.

Hi Jared and team.. I don't have a car, and I'm watching your channel from Denmark 🇩🇰 Because I like to support a good case like this by viewing 🙌 But lately I haven't seen many videos, is there a break for searching at the moment, or something? I look forward to the next video ✌️😊
