This Trend NEEDS to End... - Madden 24 Saints Franchise (Y4:G9) - Ep.68

It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway.

Thats actually an insane stat on the thumbnail. Really goes to show how bad the defense has been in the second half of every year

its not even the defense, the offensive schemes are so simple that it seems like defenses know exactly what to expect after theyve seen the same things run over and over again for half of a season. this offense is not built to score fast and when they go 3-out the first 2 drives because they dont go off script at all they get into a hole that they cant climb out of

All this offense needs to excel is to keep it simple. Hit the open man, run the ball, control the clock. The trouble comes when it deviates and gets stuck in long distance downs.

Fire ad for the Cardinals series Cane lmaooo. Seriously though I'd highly recommend it, and also the Oakland A's franchise on that channel too if you guys haven't seen it. One of Cane's best series ever imo and one of the best dynasty series I've ever seen on KZfaq. Nice win too for the Saints lol

The "one play" he makes is either because the QB decides to run right into him, or he's the second guy in on a teammate's sack/TFL and somehow gets credit for it anyway.

I wish there was a way to get better catching for DBs. Tomlinson shouldnt be dropping these. Maybe this offseason he should do some "catching drills". (aka slightly boost his catching.)

I'm not really a fan of arbitrarily boosting a player, hes a db for a reason, some of them just do not have good hands. Sauce Gardner is a great corner but as a Jets fan that man couldn't catch a cold. Tomlinson is very similar to Gardner so I don't think its too unrealistic that he drops a good amount of picks

I didn't even think about this until earlier, but I have a Madden franchise I am doing right now and the Vikings had a QB named Chad Watkins that wears 11 and also went to Nebraska. that's actually so weird. I had the second pick in season 2 and took a different QB as Seattle, and we just met in the playoffs in year 5.

This might get overshadowed but you decided to go play action on 3rd & 8, in field goal range, up ten in the 4th qt? Why not just run the ball, burn some clock and kick the field goal? It may not have mattered in this game but in another game that could screw you over I think.
