The problem with Ren's health history is that doctors kept telling him his mind was making him sick, when he actually had Lymes Disease which went undiagnosed for years. Ren is an artist of many talents and he is genre bending. I would love to see you check out "Heretic" and "Genesis" amongst many others. Great reaction and I'm loving the Welsh accent. 😊

Also the thing with Lyme disease not being treated is it does attack your body and brain and damages both. This is why Ren is spending months in hospital right now instead of playing Glastonbury etc Ren is an absolute legend can't get enough of his music, good job he has a ton of 🔥🎶

And he did have bacteria in his brain, damaging his neurons and triggering psychosis. He ended up having a serious bout of psychosis that lasted about three months in which he suffered delusions and hallucinations (about aliens!) and episodes of mania and depression. He managed to find the right treatment (a very strong course of antibiotics) which he begged for from a doctor who said it wouldn’t work but agreed to prescribe them. He was researching in a forum of parents of autistic children who were finding some of their children were getting better after antibiotics because they had been infected by bacteria. It wasn’t the Lyme disease bacteria but the antibiotics worked for the children and that’s when Ren realised the symptoms were similar and he started on the path to having it confirmed it was a bacterial triggered disease and not psychosomatic. He figured this out himself before a doctor confirmed it. He talks about it in the Twitch stream with Liv Sangster. I recommend watching it x

Any genre is possible with Ren :) Chalk Outlines would introduce you to another artist on fire atm called Chincilla,her and Ren have a few collabs together,all fire.She has a new song just out called 'Little Girl Gone' another 'Fingers' but i would suggest the live version for Hunger TV,as with any Ren/Chincilla songs,live is best.He was also in a band called 'The Big Push' there is a busking vid on their channel where they do a mash up of 'I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop' absolute fire

If you want fun, upbeat, positive Ren check out "Humble," "What you want," "Power" etc. He has also more heavier songs like "Genesis, " "Depression," "Insomnia" etc. For just storytelling you won't do any better than "The tale of Jenny and screech (Full version). I am soooo glad Wales is getting the attention it deserves. My football team is from there and Ren was born there and Welsh is the new leading language that's being learned !!! Being here in the states it just fills me with pride bc my roots is Wales from my great grand dad n grand ma. Great reaction and you definitely should be proud to be Welsh.

Actually Ren had Lyme disease that was frying his brain and they told him it was all in his head for 7yrs! When it was finally diagnosed it had done a lot of damage. He finally got treatment and is still getting treatments to help him in Canada right now.

If you want something that's just going to put a bounce in your step and a smile on your face, try The Big Push - Bongo Bong (side note: The Big Push is the busking band that Ren is part of along with Gorran, Romain, and Glen (Gorran and Romain have some amazing stuff on their own too! I've yet to find anything solo stuff from Glen the drummer))

'Renspeare' the 21 century bard has a great catalogue of music of all genres performed solo and with his friends to enjoy..... Ren calls his songs like 'Hi Ren' , the Jenny & Screech trilogy , 'Bardcore'.....which is why I call him 'Renspeare' ....lol His artistry is inspiring many by the day and its fun to watch all the reactors .I only fell down the rabbit hole a month ago and I'm hooked........He does some fun songs & raps as well.

I would honestly love to see you stay in the ren rabbit hole he does so many genres if you want to see the best duets I have ever seen react to chalk outlines and how to be me the live versions. If you want to see him go hard on rap try genesis or the hunger or power. If you want some island sounds try humble or ocean. If you want rock try crutch. If you want something inspirational try patience. If you want something old school try my woman. He literally does it all he is so multi faceted as an artist. Love the reactions keep them coming

Ren was misdiagnosed and was given meds that made him worse ! He eventually was diagnosed with Lyme Disease but since it went so long without the right meds the Lyme disease ate away at his body and mind ! He ended up have stem cell transplants, which saved his lifebefore the disease took it ! He is in Canada right now receiving more treatments !

Think Ren was from Bangor originally. Been on the Ren rabbit hole since January and seeing reactors talking about their problems or health has got people also talking about theirs. This track will be his new album name, Sick Boi. So true with doctors, medical industry and music industry he hits at. Money Game parts 1 and 2 he does is great but any songs are 😁👍 Great reaction 🙏🙏🙏

There are so many classic performances by Ren and his group The Big Push , I find it hard to recommend but I would suggest Chalk Outlines Live with Chinchilla and then The Tale of Jenny and Screech ( Full ) and then get a needle and choose from 200 others!

Ren is special, from Anglesey, which might explain a lot for those interested in history, culture and the arts generally, with Ren being so all round outrageously friggin' gifted. Actually he does have something real going on with his brain, from what I understand. His Lyme was misdiagnosed. Apparently it triggered an autoimmune disease. I don’t know if his psychosis naturally came on or if it was the result of the drugs they were giving him because he was misdiagnosed as bipolar. I believe he has M.E and it affects the myelin in his brain. He is currently being treated for that. I hope it works. He is on a very strict autoimmune diet. They have shoved an awful lot of drugs on him. Check out his busking videos with The Big Push and also some of his videos he did with Sam Tompkins. You’ll discover he does all types of genres. He is like that proverbial box of chocolates - you never know what you are going to get - but it will be awesome!

He was misdiagnosed it wasn’t in his brain he was bitten by a tick and got Lyme Desease the Dr’s told him it was in his head but his pain was real. Because they misdiagnosed his real pain for 10 years they also called him crazy for being in real pain and gave him psychotropics that drove him actually insane.

I've never come across an artist where I like EVERYTHING I've heard until this fella. The NHS sadly is critically underfunded by government for the last 30 years and it's assets sold off cheap to their mates in the private sector, that's both parties btw. Then they'll say "Look it doesn't work. we need a system more like the US".

Triggered is used way way too much to mean that something resonated, this made me feel things, sigh! Avoiding sadness outrage or painful resonances is maybe necessary for people in extreme states of PTSD or combat stress, but for almost everyone else avoiding these things is pointless or stunting.
