I'm 60 years old, a Cure 's fan from the beginning, I was 15…... This song is like a little charming jewel , reminds me the magic atmosphere of Siouxsie and Banshees, when Robert Smith was in that band.... Thank you so much RobertBryant, really a very good job ! 👍🤗

Thank you Robert, this is wonderful. I fell in love with this when I bought the 12” of ‘High’ all those years ago. My wife and I danced to this song for our first dance at our wedding. It’s a very special and beautiful song for me in many ways.

@@RobertBryant32 Hot Hot Hot is a good one too! In advance we gave the DJ a list of songs in band order (A-Z) and told him to mix them up. However, the idiot didn’t so we had six Chemical Brother songs from 6.30 in the evening. It was before iPod playlists. I didn’t notice at first but my step mother pointed it out. Made us laugh when we realised. I guess it might have got the party started. Thanks again!

You two were so lucky. I also discovered Twilight Garden off the High single when it came out. 2 divorces and 30 years later, still haven't attached any woman that fulfills this song for me.

@@RobertBryant32 io li ascolto da quando ero giovane, per me i Cure sono un rifugio "mentale" che quando ascolto i loro brani mi isolo completamente. Ci sono canzoni come questa per esempio che tj lasciano senza parole, ma dentro di te le emozioni esplodono.

I have asked myself that very question! My theory is that they were in their artist prime (completely absorbed in the zone) So they pretty much just jam-drop steamers of musical genius! A condition I wouldn't mind acquiring..(.I don't know what I’m talking about.... ) Thanks for the comment! 😂
