Was too caught up in the whole heavy metal scene in the 80's. I didn't realize what a genius band the Cure actually were. Quite possibly the best band in the world. That coming from a heavy metal fool. Not a single heavy metal band even comes close to being as great as the Cure. I wish I had a do over for the 80's.

"This Twilight Garden" is an amazing song, and is easily one of the best Cure tracks of the 90s along with "Play". (B tracks from the "High" CD single '92) Both are stronger songs then many of the songs on Wish, and hold up to their deep catalog of great music.

Mary used to live up my road in Parkfield Close, Gossops Green. Robert used to drive round to her families home in a dark green Vauxhall Ventora. Must have been around 1978.

He and her did not want children, and I know of couples who simply do not want to be parents, I get it but they have lots of family so it all goes together well, his career is his life and she was a nurse so both are busy and again what a nice looking couple. The Cure is ageless, hope that they can continue to play as long as they find it something that they find pleasure in doing.

Once had the privilege and pleasure of helping my friend from west Wales, Jonny Wilde, interview Mr Smith at the Fiction Record Offices just after the Pornography album had been released. Robert came into the offices with Mary from a shoot from Jamming fanzine (the photo is in this video: the one of them in the tree) and I have never forgotten how beautiful her hair was. She had Japanese beads woven into it. RS on the other hand had had a mare at the local salon and reckoned his perm made him (temporarily) look the spit of Kevin Keegan...
