Dalkarl Pikemen are not only cheap, they can also become scarily fast. If you get Push to Pike (unique Church tech) and Military Drummers you can bump their Speed up to 6.00 (same as Rodeleros) and should you go Finland revolt and ship Cudgel War it becomes 6.50.

Dalkarl are 50 res, Halbs are 120, so you save 70 each. You transformed almost 90 (90x70), so you saved almost 6300 res.

Yo Lion i might have a build that would fit your Playstyle. Its the strongest Build i have created but iam not good enough to smash. I have half your APM - i prefer to play this Game called Deck Builder more. Mexico - full Gold Padre-Outlaw-H.C. Its a Trash+Burst unit Comb in Musk-Falc Style based off your Mexico FI Wild West (250w+f) Saloon Up is technically a Age 4 shadowtech btw. and they still mess up Spies if they are buffed to crit -> the Idea is that you can cast those Desperados (Musk with 1.5 atk speed) in huge success, being suicidal damage-dealers that get then healed by your undying Area of Effect Healer (Padre) whilst being supported by the usual Factory Cannons - ontop of the usual Age 1 Cards needs advanced Saloon Card to triple pump - though is at least good for gold trickle - and does not really be very useful b4 revolting back into Age 4! - Ressource cards and placement is obviously chosen by yourself - Build is Gold and semi Wood dependant - Church Card makes the Padre respawn (Zombie Healer basically) - Liturgy for Padre (Cathedral Tech) gives him Area Healing - works amazing with Age 4 Padre Card Land of Hildago - to boost his healing alot - Age 3 Card Colonial Estancias gives every TC 70 pop. - TC boom for Wood Age 3 + Age 1 Card Palace of Iturbide - giving it crazy defensive capabilities, being German Palatine Settlements + a Fort - Wild West (250w+f) Saloon Up is technically a Age 4 shadowtech and Age 3 Card Mexican Standoff is the main Burst - 2 Cathedrals hopefully get you there to send the Factories and Cantinas (Theatre Card Age 4) to start spamming I always thought that 90 gold (though 3 pop) Musk from that Mexican Cantina is too good to exist. But its also the most satisfying thing ive ever seen. Its like being in a western, those Pistolero´s blast enemies with 50-90 critical every 1.5 in their face and the Padre on standby is just AoE healing the damage they inflict to themselves. All your villies can chill on Goldshower Haciendas Lategame and dont even get me started on that 3 Factory Revolt bullsh1t. Trust me its too good and you can semi waste those Pendejo´s because you only Spec into one Ressource (except Age 3 to chop) If i ever wish it was for you to try it out one time. I give you a short list of Cards, its not too tough to build: (The Usual ofc - Cathedral Construction + Cheaper Revolt e.g.) You want: -----> Palace of Iturbide (Age 1) -----> Advanced Saloon (Age 1) -----> Church Tech 2 -----> Colonial Estancias (Age 3) -----> Mexican Standoff (Age 3) -----> Land of Hildago (Age 4) Have a nice day and thank you, if you´ve got this far!

Probably you already know this but you can do a similar spam of pikemen as Spain. Tercios aren't cheaper like dalkarls do but they are tougher due to their royal guard upgrade and the free corselet tech from the church. The interesting thing about this spam is that when you ship TEAM Hidalgos and Liberation March, and then research Standing Army from the church they build INSTANTLY. I mean, absolutely zero training time. They just pop from your racks directly into your opponent base. Assuming you have a slightly decent eco, you can just send batch after batch of pikemen and outnumber your opponent because they cannot replenish their lost units fast enough.

Idk man, 60% more expensive per unit is a lot, they arent 60% stronger than darkarls tho even though they spawn instantly

You'd need some Heavy cannon from the back to do damage, though Tercio are tough but they deals no damage.

Even as Portugal as they can have Ordenance Pikemen, they are 25% cheaper and are a Royal Guard unit (+10% Hp and Atk). Making them cheaper then spain and stronger or just as strong as Sweden. Their downside is needing a churc card and are not so fast to train (compared to tercios)

Do you think the Age I Team Prospector Wagon card for Sweden would have been a good option here? In my head, 3 Copper mines close to base and 25% extra yield on all deposits would have been great to have, even if it's just to have an extra few safe Torp spots in the back of your bases

a classic teamgame meme is the russia fort creep where muskets make forts and forts make instant muskets all the way to the enemy base hopefully with some cannon behind. all it takes is fencing school for russia to have instant train infantry.

@@Shiina_LORD-Scarlet.sLifeGuard they have the French (also in good eco), they can spawn Gatling Guns and absolutely decimate pikes. Idk, I've been getting too many games with enemy team spamming Gatling Guns + Halberdier/(or some anticav) lately.
