I really loved Magnolia Parks!!! You should definitely check out some podcast episodes the author is on because the way she explains the story it just makes so much sense and it makes you feel even more for the characters and the choices they make!!!!

I completely understand what you were going through. The excitement got me totally . I reminded of the only book I've given five stars ever was Twilight. And then I was fourteen and rooted for them and everything. But going back I know how toxic it is. Yet the feeling it gave me and even though I don't agree with them anymore ; it gives me this absolute satisfaction. That feeling was just worth it, I felt it so bad. I never once regretted buying it.

omg i almost cried when you were crying reading bright side, reliving those last 100 pages. gus is my baby. i love him so much. theres a 2nd book that is about him and picks up where bright side left off. im going to be reading it in February and cant wait! DW SARA I CRIED AT THE END TOO. i think there is one more magnolia parks book coming out and two more daisy haites ones, i soooo wish there was a henry and taura book cos i love them 🥲 anyways i adore the magnolia parks series mainly the magnolia storyline and it makes me so annoyed when people say the characters are surface level and the writing is bad like HOW. the writing is incredible like it’s beautiful but not too much descriptions. also literally EVERYTHING about why they are so codependent and shallow and whatnot is explained in magnolia parks the long way home and it gave me so much closure (not the ending just abt the characters lmao). imo the characters are written really really well.
