RAMUNI - Viking Crafts and Reenactment

I went to pick some of the last apples from the tree in my garden. The ones still hanging on to the tree are fully ripe and sweetened by the sun and late summer heat. Now its autumn and its time to prepare food for travels and hikes to come. I sit down on a little bridge over the small river - my favourite spot in the garden - and cut the apples for drying. I make a simple drying rack from a branch and some hemp rope and hang the apples dry and warm untill the are dry for storage. Its a great snack or flavour in dishes further along in the dark times ahead. I also spend some time playing or practising my whistle playing to the drone of tickelig water sounds. I love this time of the year, the colours, the sounds, the smells and the foods. It holds so much good. Barefoot feeling the still warm grass and forest floor.
This is a short video of me doing Viking Crafts and Living. Everything i wear is handmade by me and is replicas or interpretations of viking age founds. Except from the hat which is not made by me. This particular whistle is not a viking age replica. The first tune is improvising and the last is based on Sigurdskvadet.
I am still recording with 2x Huawei P30lites. I have fixed the audio hiss on the high freeqency from one of the cameras and I am improving my colour grading to make the shots look more uniform. Still long way to go. Next will be working or better sound by adding microphones to my set up.
I try to make these trips and these videos as close to an authentic viking experiense for myself and the viewer and I hope you will like the content and feel inspired. Let me know in the comments below.

Hi again Rasmus, Such a tranquil video and oh my gosh its so clean in your woods, so different to wild areas here in america, it looks like the nature is realy respected(no garbage lieing around). Enjoy watching your videos when I feel like a moment of peace👍😊

Beautiful knife sheath. Do you have sources for those decorated bone (or is it antler?) pieces on sheaths?

Thank you. No sadly i dont. I had ran out of brass and wanted to finnish the sheath when i stumbled over these two antler pieces from a failed comb making attempt. Sometimes its easy to go creative and forget reproduction:)

@@RAMUNI-Viking honestly, it's really creative! And it looks great. Also nice alternative to brass if you want to make a kit for a poorer individual. Knew someone who made belt fittings out of antler, and I myself made a buckle out of bone once for a friend. Both great materials :)
