As someone who doesn't even watch Comp that often, this event was sick. I think something about being able to hear the live audience cheering in the background as stuff happened really just enhanced the experience, plus splitting the event across 2 days really built a lot of hype.

This is so interesting, loved watching this live. One thing I picked up on was that Veno attempted to place this exact wall at '1:06' before his death to Kami at '1:25'. This should have given him the indication that he couldn't build here before eventually trying to again in the gunfight. Very unfortunate from him, just shows how small margins play a huge part in games.

I think Noahreyli and Badsniper are very surprising as well, because 1. they should not even have qualified in the first place but 2. they were bottom 10 in so many predictions but managed to place 7th which is very impressive.

This is tournament was a blast to watch, i hope they have more in person tournaments next year

1:24 the absolute pure anger you could see was about to unfold and you couldn’t hear mic feed from players so who knows what he was yelling but the fact it just cut a moment before he banged that table was so funny

Probably my favorite couple of days ever in the history of fortnite loved every minute of you and AussieAntics watching it and enjoyed the suspense of that last game

I know you talked about Clix and Dukez winning a game, but can I just mention how insane it was that both them and Pinq and Anas placed top 20 while contesting each other? You mentioned how Cented and Cold as well as Larson and Smite both placed incredible despite being contested as well. I hope this will make people realize that being contested isn't the end of the world in big tournaments.

in my opinion it isn't only that "wall" that determined who would win, cause as you said Kami did do a mistake when placing the stair AND Veno didn't manage to hit the last shot, if Kami had placed the stair correctly it would've gone probably very different aswell as if Veno actually hit the last shot

I'm kinda pissed that I missed it, I thought fncs live tournaments happened very often so I never really payed attention to them. I thought it was just another tournament. Now I'm seeing all these clips and it feels like the vibe here was similar to the World Cup event which I really really loved watching.

he could have built on the tile that was at his feet AND he would have won if he didnt wiff the second prime shotgun shot....even if he hit for the minimum damage. had he played the peak advantage he could have built and wouldnt have taken as much damage. this is the greatest choke ever and its not the tiles fault

idk why everyone keeps saying whoever wins this fight wins the tournament, when IF SETTY AND KAMI WIN THEY GUARANTEE to win. even if queasy and veno win this fight whos to say that they dont die shortly after, or before placement etc? i get that their match history would suggest they would easily get the points etc, but them being at an entirely different drop spot may lead to them dying earlier than they have in prior games. just saying IF queasy and veno killed kami and setty there, thats only 4 elim points, and would still need 8 more points total to tie them and 9 more to end up winning.
