There isn't anything adorable about Kai's "micro ears" which come from a horrible genetic mutation. The bone and cartilage development throughtout the body of Scottish Folds is affected in EVERY one of them. They are far more likely to develop severe, painful degenerative joint diseases from an early age. Scotland itself has banned the criel breeding of them. Please understand how wrong it is for people to have this type of cat. Poor Kai 😢

These cats are all well cared for, and very loved. Take your activism against Scottish Folds to the proper places, not here. We don't know exactly why this is, but it seems like Scottish folds are always pretty vocal to extremely hilarious lengths. 😂 Like Chase is a bit of an outlier, but the sheer amount of videos we have seen of Scottish Folds getting so angry to the point of speaking in demon tongue is astounding. 😂 And it's almost always the "blue" ones, like Kai here. Something about the blue-gray fur genetics make them go wild, for some reason. 😅

@greenpiersystem Often, it's caused by the pain that these "unique breeds" end up living with 24/7 due to inherent health issues caused by them basically being inbred (due to their limited gene pool). Hip dysplasia (usually in lg dogs), breathing problems (esp in Brachycephalic breeds), brain swelling (pitties), Photosensitivity & Misophonia (esp in toy poodles), early onset arthritis & osteoporosis... the list is endless, depending on the breed. The way she's holding him in this useless "training technique" could easily be triggering to an animal with such issues😿

Well, at least he has good communication skills so you are clear on his "Yes" and "No" responses. Kai expresses himself well. Smart kitty. But then again, so are Chase, Millie and Skye. Fifi you are so amazing with all animals.... my goodness the patience you have and Kai has come a long ways since you started watching him. Thing is he does need to be home.. but seriously wonder if they care about him at all there.. not like you do. , Most folks have a cat period and it hangs out and just IS.. but you and Kareem train your cats and work with them... and look at them all. ..wowie.. Kai is lucky he has you.. and he can always visit you again.. you do not need stress right now of any kind... so mom can put him on the couch and he will be happy with her .. just sitting there. Love to yuou and thank you for showing us how you work with the cats... and realize their supreme intelligence. It could be uncomfortable for him, but it's necessary, because the baby is coming and they need Kai to learn to be nice, I think that he will learn it quickly and will give him lots of love.🐱❤

But I do know, as a professional Animal Trainer and Behaviorist, that I've never seen OP do this before nor have I ever heard any of my colleagues suggest such behavior. As far as I'm aware, we'd all classify this as mildly abusive. It looks to me like she repeatedly ignored his repeated protests in an attempt at making more content for garnering those 🤬 "likes" online.

@guille5830 And I'm curious about why they'd need to put their baby next to him? Personally, I find that it's better to protect pets from their uncontrolled movements and sudden grabs... Teaching pets to stay away from kids who are still too young to know how to behave/ control themselves is much safer for everyone involved 😉👍

Maybe bc all Scottish Folds suffer from varying degrees of painful degenerative joint disease! When most OP breed animals to get these unique breeds to sell for big buck$, they give zero 🤬s about their quality of life!!! It's bad enough that all purebred animals are inherently "inbred" bc of their limited gene pool, but backyard breeders don't care about keeping good blood lines... just the 💰🤑, so the pets suffer even more (literally with every breath, if they're Brachycephalic). DON'T SHOP, PLEASE ADOPT!!!

We love grumpy Kai. I think he understands alot more of what you're trying to teach him. Keep up the good work. Please always use a cat carrier when transporting him. GOD FORBID, but it would be so easy for him to jump out of your arms. Believe me, I too am a very experienced cat person and I've had it happen to me a few times when I didn't think it would It could have gone very badly, but by God's grace no one was hurt. We would feel devastated if anything bad ever happened. Love to all of you!❤ Kai is learning so much from you Fifi! Continue to teach him and be patient with him! ❤

I love this!!! I had a very cantankerous cat who wasn't fond of too many people or animals until he was much older- around 10 yrs. I honestly had to call and "warn" everyone at our Vet's office when I was bringing him in😂😂😂. He lived for 21 yrs. Dang I loved him❤❤❤. Thanks for your vids, love seeing you interact with your babies!
